A musical composition 10-week writing workshop in which students are selected from the After-School Music Program to work with professional composers and musicians. This program provides a unique experience for self-expression under the guidance of mentors of the highest quality. Over the course of the program, professional musicians help the children understand the sounds, range, effects, and capabilities of many orchestral instruments. Final pieces are performed by professional musicians at a concert held in early spring.
