Offers programs to students ages 5 – 11 in grades K - 5th. The Elementary Level Programs includes: The Center-Based Functional Academic Skills Program. The Functional Academic Skills Program services students with moderate to severe development disabilities. The primary goal of the program is to maximize each student's potential and to teach skills that will enable them to become as independent as possible within the confines of their disability. Program components include academics with an emphasis on functional skill development, utilizing a modified Common Core Curriculum. Behavior management, independent living and social skills are also addressed. Functional assessments of behavior and behavior intervention plans are implemented for support when needed. The 12:1:4 Program at Premm Learning Center emphasizes a multi-sensory approach to learning. Emphasis is placed on improving cognition, sensory motor skills development and use of adaptive equipment to aid movement and independence. Students placed in the 12:1:4 class component are non-ambulatory and are dependent upon staff for meeting their needs throughout the school day. Classroom instruction is provided with hand over hand assistance. Related services of speech, occupational therapy and physical therapy are provided on a group push-in basis. Included Class Satellite Services offers included class components for elementary students within off site district mainstream programs. The students serviced within the included programs experience learning disabilities but exhibit minimal to no behavioral concerns. The primary goal of the included class program is to maximize each student's potential and to act as the bridge to possibly return to home school district. Instruction in these classes emphasizes a modified Common Core Curriculum, behavior management, and self-advocacy and social skills, while also providing for the opportunity to be integrated with the mainstream population for special subject classes, lunch, assemblies and academic subjects when appropriate. All students are assessed using the New York State Alternate Assessment. Programs are offered at various locations.

Provides an employment program for recipients of Public Assistance. Offers case management, referrals to services, and support services such as child care and transportation. (Transportation and child care are provided during the program.) Employable recipients are engaged in full-time activities, with options such as structured job search, job seeking and retention workshops, educational and/or vocational training, unpaid work experience, job placement, and subsidized employment. Those who are exempt are assisted with accessing and maintaining treatment with the goal of rehabilitation or eligibility for SSI.

A children's bereavement program which helps children to overcome grief and depression resulting from the loss of a parent, sibling or grandparent. The program is offered at the First Presbyterian Church in Yorktown, Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church in Yonkers, and the Sound Shore Medical Center in New Rochelle. Pizza and soda are brought for the children and their families.

This is a workshop-based training session aimed at increasing independence and improving job readiness through the development of social and life skills.

Offers a full-day and half-day program structured for adults recovering from alcohol and/or drug addiction. Provides full medical and psychiatric evaluation/assessment, including individual, group and family counseling, along with literacy, pre-GED and career assistance. Clients learn the skills necessary to lead an alcohol/drug free lifestyle and to make positive decision in their lives. The program is also based on the 12-step disease model and offers the DMV mandated DWI program. Services also provided for Spanish speaking individuals.

At Peconic Bay Medical Center, you become an integral part of the medical center team. Every effort is made to schedule hours and days on a flexible basis. Volunteer opportunities are available throughout the hospital in various departments. Junior Volunteers are high school students ages 16-17 with working papers who volunteer and can obtain valuable experience for future careers. Junior Volunteers who have given 100 hours of service and are pursuing advanced education for a healthcare career may qualify for an Auxiliary Healthcare Award.
