Offers a 24 hour skilled nursing facility for individuals who need continuous care due to age, illness, recovery or disability. Also provides an adult day health program for individuals who need some supervision throughout the day, with services that include exercise, socialization, group activities and rest. A nurse will be available to provide medications, treatment, evaluations, and teaching. Nurses aides will be available for personal care services: bathing, exercise, feeding assistance, toileting and other comfort measures.

Project Alliance is to help people manage behavioral health issues in the community. Mobile Crisis Response Teams would be a direct resource for direct 911 calls for a behavioral health crisis to local law enforcement and expand the resources to best meet the needs of such calls. Access the MCRT will be through local Police Departments by dialing 911.

Makes decisions on school curriculum, decisions regarding discipline, school closures and other educational issues which affect the teachers and students. Parents/guardians wanting to gain information about these matters can call the administration office.

Delivers comprehensive therapeutic and supportive oncology services, including cancer education and translational research. Offer a full range of specialty services and programs for such cancers as leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma and prostate, brain, breast, lung and all types of gynecologic cancers.

Offers a volleyball camp for girls and boys entering grades 2 to 12. Volleyball Camp is for both girls and boys who desire a full day of volleyball training and instruction. Camp provides a healthy atmosphere in which campers can enjoy playing volleyball and developing friendships. Players will develop their skills through frequent ball contact in a fun yet challenging environment. Games and competition will be used throughout camp as a learning tool with continued positive feedback. This program is available to players of all ability levels. Campers are placed into groups of similar skill level in order to insure the most improvement, challenge and excitement. The intended goal is to motivate the skilled player, while teaching the beginner the basics to building a strong foundation in volleyball. All aspects of the game will be covered on both individual and team levels. Daily Program includes: Stretching and warm-up exercises; Volleyball fundamentals: passing, setting, attacking, serving, defense and blocking; Offensive and defensive strategic development; Position breakdown; Competitions; Game play; Continuous evaluation and supervision and Coaches instruction-lectures. Each camper should wear daily: cotton T-shirt, athletic shorts, shin guards, and sneakers or cleats. Campers must also bring a water bottle. Accepts real hair (not bleached) donations with a 10" minimum hair length tip to tip. Hair must be in a ponytail or braid before it is cut and must be clean and completely dry before it is mailed in. The ponytail or braid must be placed in a sealed plastic bag, and then inside of a padded envelope. Do not accept wigs, falls, or synthetic hair.

A self-help support group for parents, grandparents and siblings who have suffered the death of a child, grandchild or sibling.

Provides training, education, support, and networking to students and staff at Long Island High Schools who wish to establish a gay-straight alliance (GSA). Alliances provide a safe place for gay and non-gay students and increase awareness of the various challenges facing gay and lesbian students. Call for information.

Provides youth and adult peer education strategies and skills to foster awareness and prevention of HIV/AIDS, as well as support to persons infected and affected by the HIV/AIDS virus. Outreach includes youth and adult conferences and workshops, participation in health and community fairs, and peer educator training.

Offers two programs: LSVT – BIG (physical therapy) and LSVT – LOUD (Speech Therapy).
