Provides restorative dental and dental hygiene services to the public and individuals with developmental disabilities.

Promotes healthy babies and families by providing every new parent in the county a one-time visit with one of our public health nurses. During the visit, parents receive one-on-one education related to infant safety, feedings, development, immunizations, post-partum depression, and more.

Active support services are available for disability services, adult support groups (Pathways-ESL/EAL, GED prep, Pre-Collegiate and Education 2 Recovery), state and federal financial aid programs, workforce development & training, community education, remedial courses (math and English), tutoring services, high school equivalency program (TASC Program), childcare, and Veterans' Affairs services. ##Veteran##

Palliative Care is appropriate for the seriously ill, including children and those undergoing curative treatment. Palliative Care is provided where the patient lives with round-the-clock access to physician, social work, and spiritual care. Working as a team, the client's physicians and palliative care physician will create an individualized care plan that includes:

• More timely comfort, pain, and symptom management
• House calls and in-home visits by physicians and nurses
• Patient-centered decisions and medical care
• Coordinated care between primary and specialized physicians
• Community linkages through social workers and chaplains

Provides public housing for low-income families, elderly, and long-term disabled. A family facility comprised of 26 family apartments: 16 three-bedroom units and 10 four-bedroom units. Preference given to permanent residents of Genesee County. Waiting list may apply.

Meets the emergency needs of infants and very young children by providing them with a supply of diapers, infant formula, baby food, and baby care products. Limited quantities available.

Provides free meals for any kids and teens ages 18 and under (and young adults with disabilities under 21). Meals are to be eaten on site.

Offers licensed after school and recess camp programs, adult/youth tennis year round, swimming lessons, water aerobics (year round), lap swim (year round), after-school gym programs, toddler programs, Badminton (year round), adult floor hockey, basketball, volleyball and dodgeball, youth basketball lessons, open basketball, and floor hockey. Playground and playmobile (mobile playground) available on site. Concerts in the parks and various special events offered during the year. Programs available for both adults and youth with disabilities, including social programs, and Special Olympics training in basketball, track, and swimming. Crafts available year round for adults, and swimming offered in summers for youth. Services also available for dropouts and first offenders. Offers drug abuse prevention programs. One and two-bedroom affordable apartments available through the HUD Section 202 Affordable Housing and New York State Tax Credit for older adults ages 62 and older who meet federally mandated household income guidelines. Amenities vary. Please note: Grocery shopping and outings are not provided at this location.

Canal View has 12 beds in double rooms in North Tonawanda.
