Hosts annual conferences on trauma and children, publishes literature to inform professionals and the public, provides training and consultation in a host of related areas to similar organizations. The service is provided by the Sanctuary Institute, a training and consultation service, an evidence-based template for system change, based on the active creation and maintenance of a nonviolent, democratic therapeutic community in which staff and clients are empowered as key decision-makers to build a socially responsive, emotionally intelligent community that fosters growth and change.

Narcotics Anonymous is a global, community-based organization with a multi-lingual and multicultural membership offering recovery from the effects of addiction through working a twelve-step program, including regular attendance at group meetings.

Provides a nurturing, supportive and active environment that fosters independence, yet offers assistance when needed. Specialty programs include Path to Home, Respite Program, and Safe Care for those with Alzheimer's or Dementia.

Assists consumers who have been wronged by a business, through mediation to resolve disputes and assists residents in locating the government agencies that can best address their problems, and referring complaints to the right agency. Consumers are encouraged to try to resolve the dispute with the company or individual before filing a complaint.

Offers comprehensive outpatient pulmonary rehabilitation programs for adults and children. Physiatrists and rehabilitation nurses help patients manage or improve their lung and respiratory conditions. Pulmonary rehabilitation also benefits patients who are preparing for, or recovering after, lung surgery. Programs provide convenient access to exercise, education and wellness support, and patients notice improved functional status and they gain a better understanding of their disease.

Turns your cell phone into a source of information for ambulance, fire and police personnel responding to accidents, crimes, and disasters. "ICE," is a campaign in which participants program their emergency contact information into their cell phones. Emergency personnel can use your phone to find your ICE contact, and inform them of the event, as well as, gather valuable information about your health and/or medical conditions. The building department monitors new building conditions and construction, and oversees the maintenance of older multi-family structures. Also enforces the state and local building codes, housing standards and ordinances, to the review of applications for permits of new buildings, repairs, alterations, signs, and rooming houses, in addition to electrical and plumbing work. The building department accepts complaints from tenants about conditions the landlord fails to resolve.

Offers information on support groups for parents and families of children who are struggling with substance abuse and want to share concerns, questions, and want support from those who understand what they are going through.

Rapid Rehousing Assistance for Fulton or Montgomery County Residents who are literally homeless.

Helps parents find day care providers by name, type of facility, county or zip code online or by phone. Also helps parents who have complaints about a child care facility.

LAS provides free legal counseling and representation for low-income individuals who need assistance in civil cases, which includes, government benefits, unemployment insurance, disability, health care, housing, family law matters, consumer problems, children's legal issues and immigration matters.

New York residents having trouble affording hearing aids may call to speak to a counselor about programs to find low-cost programs. A free hearing test can be conducted over the phone, and counselors may include resources such as donated or reconditioned hearing aids, where available.

Assists clients with written or online employment applications and with job searches as well as resume writing and interview preparation.

Offers a wide range of licensing, records, and informational services to town residents. Licensing and permits include marriage licenses, hunting/fishing/trapping licenses, disabled parking permits, dog licenses, block party permits, peddler/solicitor licenses, and racing/wagering licenses. Other services include processing passport applications as well as maintaining town records and archives. Prepares and collects property taxes for residents of the Village of Hope from January through June 1st. After June 1st all paperwork goes to the Hamilton County Treasurer's Office.

Provides housing assistance to individuals and families with mental illness and substance abuse difficulties, and offers ongoing support and counseling to maintain their treatment.

The lawyer referral and Information service offers general legal aid and legal counseling. Provide referrals to non-profits and civil legal service organization for low-income individuals seeking civil legal advise and/or representation. Free Legal Answers is a virtual online legal advice clinic. Qualifying users post their civil legal question to their state's website. Users will then be emailed when their question receives a response. Volunteer attorneys will not answer criminal law questions.

Provides outpatient substance services including psycho-social diagnostic-social evaluation, psychiatric evaluation, psychological testing, toxicology screening, individual and family psychotherapy, group psychotherapy focusing on sobriety, D.W.I., prevention, anger management, conflict resolution, workshop series, and offers psychotropic medication as well as 12 step programs(AA, Na, Alanon, etc.) COPAY works effectively with Child protective Services, the courts, probation, parole, alternative youth programs, hospitals, and rehabilitation programs.

Provides meaningful volunteer opportunities for people who are in recovery from mental illness. The companions are placed in approximately 25 locations including adult homes, nursing homes and also private homes and spend time socializing, sharing wellness tools and providing companionship. This program not only offers volunteer opportunities but it is a pre-vocational program which offers weekly trainings and skill building activities to enhance abilities and readiness for gainful employment. Participants receive a meal allowance, travel reimbursement, paid vacation, sick and personal days, job training and support.

Provides services to the seriously mentally ill client who is incarcerated, as well as psychiatric evaluation and consultation to the courts. Advocates for the needs of the inmate client in the jail, in legal system and in the mental health treatment community.
