Senior Social Care Program providing Stay Fit Dining where enrolled seniors are eligible to receive nutritious lunches, weekly social and physical activities, and educational programs. Also provides a bread and pastry pantry with access to fresh fruits and vegetables. Serves as a Cooling Center during times of extreme heat. Always call to make sure a Cooling Center is open before going there.

Available for Section 8 participants is the Family Self-Sufficiency Program, which assists participants with obtaining employment and education opportunities while building financial capabilities. Develops quality affordable housing for individuals, families, seniors, and people with disability-based needs. Manages subsidized properties. HUD Certified Housing Counseling Agency provides home ownership and rental counseling, including pre-purchase, housing search assistance, financial education (consisting of budgeting, credit, banking, and goal setting), reverse mortgage, and mortgage default counseling. Individual Development Accounts: Offers matched savers programs to help save for Home Purchase, Education, and Small Business Development. Provides technical assistance to communities and other housing providers. Offers workshops for property owners on mold awareness, home repair, landlord/tenant rights and responsibilities, and lead-safe work practices. Staff provides affordable housing opportunities, referrals, and educational programs for tenants and landlords. Maintains listings of affordable apartments and Section 8 friendly apartments in WNY.

Designed to help patients recovering from surgery, illnesses, or sports-related conditions with emphasis on restoring or increasing mobility and function.

A single location where customers can access the services provided by the Farm Service Agency, Natural Resources Conservation Service, and Conservation District. Farm Service Agency administers federal farm programs and farm loan programs.

An option for low-income, disabled persons in the community to rent safe, quality housing with the option of single, two, and three bedrooms for families. Affordable Housing is based on income and does not provide services. Complexes are located in Dunkirk, Olean, and South Dayton.

Serves people with Developmental Disabilities under OPWDD in multiple ways:

• Assists individuals and their families to obtain OPWDD eligibility.
• Provides transition services to young adults in the areas of independent living skills, higher education, and employment readiness skills.
• Provides community habilitation and transportation services for OPWDD eligible individuals.
• Offers a recreational dance program.

Special Needs Housing Program which provides housing to low income individuals. 11 apartments available at this site; two apartments are 2-bedroom and nine are 1-bedroom. Each apartment comes with appliances. Utilities included.

Designed for children ages 4-13. Offers camps for two age groups: Camp Wee-Okee (ages 4-8) and Adventure Camp (ages 8-13). Week-long sessions include traditional camp activities and trip day.

Program is founded on the basis that literacy problems are often rooted in language deficits. In order to read fluently with accurate comprehension, firm skills are necessary in several basic areas. The program philosophy is that one must go "back to the basics" in several areas which compose "language literacy" in order to be successful with reading development. These areas include:

• Auditory Processing: what you do with what you hear
• Phonological Awareness: the ability to hear, identify, and manipulate sounds of spoken language, as well as the ability to rhyme and identify words, syllables, and sounds
• Phonics: having a firm grasp on the letters and spellings which represent sounds in written language
• Expressive (use of) and receptive (comprehension of) spoken and written language, including the use of vocabulary, grammar, and concepts

Also houses the Elder Advocacy Program, a cross-systems community collaboration to address elder abuse. The Elder Advocacy Program acts as a single point-of-entry for elder abuse survivors, assessing their needs and providing appropriate legal and non-legal services to end abuse and empower survivors.
