Arts Access is a free pass available to any WNY resident who receives income based public assistance. The pass provides free or low cost admission to more than 60 arts and culture venues in Western New York. ##REENTRY##

A comprehensive child development Head Start/Preschool program designed to serve income eligible children 0-5 years of age including children with disabilities and their families. Early Head Start: provides early, continuous, intensive, and comprehensive child development and family support services to low-income infants and toddlers and their families, and pregnant women and their families. Provides early learning, care and enrichment experiences to children in an early care and education setting. Staff members also visit family homes at least twice per year.

115 bed skilled nursing facility offering a rehabilitation program for both short term and long term medical needs. Unit for dementia and Alzheimer's available as well.

Provides free summer meals for kids and teens ages 18 and under as well as young adults with disabilities through age 21.

Program is designed to ease the transition of refugee children into the Buffalo Public School system and to empower parents to be effective partners in the education of their children. Provides mentoring, advocacy, counseling, tutoring, problem solving, school orientation, mediation, in class support assistance, parent/teacher conferences, homework assistance, crisis intervention, translation and interpretation.

An online tool for New York State residents allowing them to check their eligibility for multiple human services benefit programs and apply online for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and the Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP). The eligibility tool takes about 10 minutes to answer. Personal information is not saved after leaving the website.

Provides state-funded financial assistance to aged, blind and disabled individuals and is part of the monthly benefit paid to most Supplemental Security Income (SSI) recipients. Monthly benefit amounts vary depending on a variety of factors including: living arrangements, income; and county of residence.

Provides seniors with a trusted source to contact about their personal concerns. Provides advocacy and resources for residents who live in nursing homes, assisted living, and licensed family-type homes throughout Erie, Niagara, Chautauqua, and Cattaraugus Counties. Sometimes an extra voice is needed to address concerns. Volunteer ombudsmen will assist residents to understand and exercise their rights to promote dignity and quality of life in long-term care facilities. Volunteer opportunities are available for those who work in professional fields and for recent retirees.
