This program focuses on community service, training in communication skills and decision making and college tours.

Established the student internship program to assist students in furthering their education and experience in the field of criminal justice. The Suffolk County Police Department offers this unique opportunity for students to observe the functions and operations of the department. The program will give each student a representative sampling of the comprehensive training that every police recruit must complete before they can transition to patrol duty. Interns will be assigned to their local precinct to observe the different commands of the precinct. Interns will also be assigned to Special Patrol and various commands in Police Headquarters. Prepares and collects Saratoga County property and fire district taxes for residents of the Town of Charlton from January through January 31st. After January 31st all paperwork goes to the Saratoga County Treasurer's Office.

Spring 2023 will offer auditing to the Institute of Learning and Retirement. The charge will be $50 per class. This list can be sorted by town or business category and filtered by keywords to help consumers find what they are looking for. The list is continually growing and will be updated periodically. Provides home-based care management services for adults with chronic mental health, medical and substance abuse disorders. Services include a health risk assessment, care development/planning, crisis intervention, advocacy, coordination and linkage to medical, substance abuse and mental health providers, and housing, legal, benefit, vocational and educational services.

Issues New York State handicap parking permits to qualifying individuals.

Provides nutrition assessments and education for individuals who need to establish good eating habits for a variety of health reasons.

Several housing services and residences for people with mental illness and/or developmental disabilities, persons living with HIV/AIDS and those recovering from alcohol addictions.

Offers a skilled nursing facility which provides innovative care in an environment that treats the “whole” person. The skilled and caring medical staff responds to the physical, social and emotional needs of each resident. Extensive medical care is provided by the Facility’s physician staff in such diverse areas as rehabilitation services, diagnostic and radiology services, psychiatric and psychological care, dental and ophthalmology care, podiatry services, cardiology evaluations and treatment, and neurological testing. On-site ambulatory clinics provide residents the convenience of accessible specialty medical care. Should inpatient hospital care be necessary, residents are transferred to the nearby Nassau University Medical Center. The Admissions Office will gladly arrange a tour of the facility for family members, as well as for hospital and home-care professionals seeking information to assist individuals awaiting placement.
