Safe Start is committed to promoting the safety of all occupants riding in motor vehicles and reducing the number of children riding unrestrained. The Safe Start program conducts educational workshops for the public. Safe Start's permanent fitting stations located in Nassau and Suffolk Counties can provide families with the opportunity to have their safety seats inspected by certified technicians ensuring correct installation. EAC's Safe Start van provides staff with the tools needed to operate a mobile fitting station while promoting efforts to ensure that children are safely strapped in.

Migrant Health Services is a collaborative service offered by the County Health Department and the Hudson Valley Migrant Health Program of the Hudson River Community Health Center that provides outreach and education to migrant farm workers in Orange County to reduce their risk of contracting or spreading communicable diseases and to improve occupational health and safety.

Offers both in-home and out-of-home respite services parents or caregivers of a child who is chronically ill or with disabilities. The program also provides parental support, promotes healthy communication, and helps build positive parent/child relationships.

Serves hot and cold nutritious sit-down and to-go meals for those in need in the community. In addition to food, other essential services are provided such as pantry bags, clothing, toiletries, baby items, and more. Volunteer opportunities. Breakfast is served between 9:00 am-11:00 am. Hot food is available between 11:30 am-2:00 pm for either sit-down or to-go meals, and to-go meals are available between 2:00 pm-4:30 pm.
