Each of the Guidance Center's three sites offers mental health services for children from birth through 24 and their families. The first step is a comprehensive evaluation, followed by an individually tailored treatment plan that may include any combination of individual, family and group therapy, and when indicated, medication management with a psychiatrist.

This is an intensive developmental program for children with severe speech/language/ communication deficits and are struggling to to function in a regular school setting. This program works with the child utilizing language and speech therapy along with the academic content which will allow the student to return to the regular classroom or a less-restrictive class setting in their school district.

Some services include personal care, case and care management, personal emergency response devices, long-term home care for individuals who are eligible for a nursing home, but choose to stay at home. Home care services are physician ordered and supervised by a registered nurse, and services are rendered by licensed providers who are contracted and monitored the Dept. of Social Services.
