GRASP provides self-help support groups to bereaved families and individuals who had a loved one die through substance abuse whether drugs or alcohol.

Reaches out to vulnerable runaway, homeless, and street involved youth and assist them in moving to safer environments, meeting basic needs and obtaining needed services. The Team has successfully brought homeless young people to safe emergency shelter and directly assisted them in meeting basic needs.

Free volunteer-run tax assistance and preparation service. All returns prepared remotely. All tax clients must have gross annual household income below $60,000. We will mail or email out intake packets to all potential clients. Once a client has all their tax documents and has completed all intake forms, they can call to make an appointment to drop off their documents. Taxes will not be prepared until we determine all the necessary documentation has been received.

Provides a six-week session for children with disabilities, to learn how to ice skate. Children progress at their own rate and ability in a safe and nurturing environment. Skaters will be allowed to use a skate aid on the ice, if necessary.

Offer long-term home health care featuring the following: nursing care, home visits, case management, physical and occupational therapy, speech and hearing services, social work services, personal care, homemaking and housekeeping services, home health aide, nutritional counseling, respiratory therapy, medical supplies and equipment and medical transportation. Waivered services include personal emergency response system, housing improvement, home maintenance, social day care and transportation and respite care.

The building department monitors new building conditions and construction, and oversees the maintenance of older multi-family structures. Also enforces the state and local building codes, housing standards and ordinances, to the review of applications for permits of new buildings, repairs, alterations, signs, and rooming houses, in addition to electrical and plumbing work. The building department accepts complaints from tenants about conditions the landlord fails to resolve.

Enforcement measures include checking weights of packaged products and the accuracy of weighing and measuring devices such as supermarket scales, gasoline pumps, taxicab meters and rental car odometers.

Provides case management, makes referrals to other agencies and offers mediation to Nassau County youth ages 10-17, and their families who are referred through the Nassau County Juvenile Probation Department.

The Rockland Community College Liberty Partnerships Program (LPP) is a dropout prevention and college access program that is funded by the New York State Education Department. RCC LPP serves 340 historically excluded students (grades 7-12) in the East Ramapo, North Rockland and Nyack school districts. Rockland Community College LPP is committed to the belief that all students can learn and should have equal access to resources.
