The building department monitors new building conditions and construction, and oversees the maintenance of older multi-family structures. Also enforces the state and local building codes, housing standards and ordinances, to the review of applications for permits of new buildings, repairs, alterations, signs, and rooming houses, in addition to electrical and plumbing work. The building department accepts complaints from tenants about conditions the landlord fails to resolve.

Offers a certificate program in Business Administration. This program provides students with the necessary skills for immediate entry into today's business world. Most courses in the program can be applied toward the A.S. degree in Business Administration or the A.A.S. degree in Marketing. Sample course offerings include: Accounting I; Principles of Management; Principles of Macroeconomics; Business Law I; Introduction to Statistics; Accounting II; Interpersonal Communications; Public Speaking; Business Computing: Concepts and Applications and Introduction to Marketing. Offer a multi-disciplinary team of professionals to care for patients of breast cancer with state of the art technology, biopsy, various surgery options, ultrasound, mobile mammography services, treatment choices and education and information. Also provides mobile mammogram services to high risk women in the Sound Shore area who are unable to access services, or to companies or organizations where women would like the service, but access is difficult.

Parenting classes for parents of children ages 5-18. This six-week class utilizes discussion and multimedia presentations to teach parents. This 12 hour class is appropriate for parents with or without a disability or who have a child/children with or without a disability. Classes will meet both Family Court and CPS mandates.
