• Discussion Support Groups for Parents of Children Age 0-12: Discussion topics including Managing Fighting and Aggression, Hassle Free Shopping, Dealing with Disobedience, and Developing Good Bedtime Routines.

• Discussion Support Groups for Parents of Teenagers (Age 13+): Discussion topics include Getting Teenagers to Cooperate, Coping with Teenagers' Emotions, Building Teenagers' Survival Skills, and Reducing Family Conflict.

• Primary Care Support: One on one sessions designed to help parents with specific individualized concerns.

Maximum security correctional facility for males.

Provides shelter and care to injured, abused, lost, and/or abandoned animals before finding them a new home through adoption. Helps reunite families with lost pets. Keeps potentially dangerous animals off the streets. Volunteer opportunities available.

Provides support to victims of fires and disasters. Provides blood donation services. Offers a series of courses on First Aid, CPR, Injury Prevention, Swimming, Life Guarding, and more. Courses offered at various sites. Corporate classes also available. Installs smoke alarms and provides in-home emergency planning assistance.

Provides a starting point for many youth to learn about becoming and staying active and developing healthy habits. Offers opportunities to learn new sports, build positive relationships, and develop good sportsmanship and teamwork. Youth programs include indoor soccer, basketball, floor hockey, golf, flag football, and preschool sports programs, along with the YMCA Canal Club which provides opportunities to bike, hike, kayak, and snowshoe throughout the year.

Provides specialty behavioral health services to children 3 years and older, adolescents, and young adults up to age 22. Offers evidence-based comprehensive assessment, individual and group therapy, and medication management to help individuals and families achieve their mental wellness goals. ##REENTRY##

Provides children and youth with an opportunity to experience camp life, develop essential skills, and make friends. Overnight, sampler, and day camps available. Situated on Lake Ontario in Barker, NY, Camp Kenan boasts more than 50 acres of land. Camp activities include archery, high ropes course, trail hiking, and campfire singing.

Provides outreach, assistance, and facilitated enrollment, including in-home assistance, for individuals and families who may qualify for Food Stamps. Can assist with recertification.

Residential rehabilitation treatment program for women with substance use disorders. Offers on-site substance use and mental health counseling, basic medical care, meals, recreation, daily support, and self-help meetings. Program employs client-centered cognitive behavioral and dialectical behavioral therapies, along with motivational interviewing to help residents learn to cope with life experiences without relying on substance use. Utilizes trauma-informed care practices that seek to address each individual's past history or trauma and its effect on their lives. Offers women who are single, pregnant, or parenting a chance for treatment of alcohol or substance use without loss of custody of their child/children.

Provides free, in-person tax preparation assistance from Tax Department employees who will walk clients through their income tax returns step by step and help them complete and e-file their tax returns for free. Filing will be completed using safe and secure online tax software, and clients can use on-site computers or their own laptop, tablet, or mobile device. Clients must have an active email account. This is a service to assist with preparation, not a full preparation service. Clients should have basic computer skills.

Provides full immunization coverage for children and adults.

Support group provides resources, comfort, coping skills, and a place for women to share common concerns and emotional support. Meetings are located in the Heart Center of Niagara's HSBC Community Room on the second floor. Also maintains the 2U ABC Relief Fund, which provides direct financial support to both uninsured and insured patients who have high co-pays or cannot afford their co-pays, and who are financially and medically qualified for medical treatments and/or prescription medication. Financial support may go towards radiation and chemo treatments, prescription medication, or over-the-counter medication.

Provides hot, sit-down meals for individuals and families. Thanksgiving meal provided by sit-down or take-out on Thanksgiving Day; see Hours below for 2025 details. Delivery available within the City and Town of Lockport only for residents over 60 years old.

Allows low-income households (owners or renters) to receive a discount on their quarterly water bills. Discount for low-income households is $15.00 per quarter ($60 per year), and discount for very low-income households is $22.50 per quarter ($90 per year). Additional discounts are available to senior citizens (see Intake / Application Process below). Program be accessed via Get Wise Water Buffalo, an official Affordable Water Program assistance tool available online.

Provides free tax preparation by appointment only to individuals with household income of $67,000 or less. Returns are prepared by IRS certified volunteers. Both in-person and drop-off tax preparation are available.
