Provides supplemental fresh produce to low-income households of school-aged children bi-weekly on Wednesdays during the school year. This program is for families with students who qualify for free or reduced lunch. The program is limited to 1000 households within a 15-mile delivery radius of the Mount Vernon Library, The Boys & Girls Club of Mount Vernon, Ossining High School, or Peekskill High School. To participate, you must be a resident of Elmsford, Larchmont, Mount Vernon, New Rochelle, Ossining, Peekskill, Pelham, Sleepy Hollow, Tarrytown, Tuckahoe, White Plains, or Yonkers.

Offers a choice-based food pantry to meet the needs of our members and people in the local community, many who live below the federal poverty level, at no cost. The pantries are managed and run by peer staff, with a specific focus on Veterans each Tuesday at Charlotte’s Table. Anyone in need may visit our food pantries on a weekly basis. Food pantry accepts donations of non-perishable food items Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 4:00pm. To donate perishable or frozen foods, please contact the pantry coordinator to schedule a drop-off date and time.

Partnering with Catholic Health and the Suffolk County Department of Labor, the Clinical Medical Assisting Program provides students with a great opportunity to earn a certificate and enter a rewarding healthcare occupation. This is a seven-and-a-half month program. The program includes: Administrative training on day-to-day activities in a medical setting, such as speaking with patients, scheduling their appointments, processing insurance forms and electronic medical record management; Clinical training on what happens with patients in the examination room, such as checking vitals, documenting information, obtaining labs and providing education and an 80 hours onsite in a medical office, ambulatory center, or hospital department externship. Includes three ten-bed homes which serve as transitional housing for persons with psychiatric disabilities, and for individuals with a dual diagnosis of mental illness and intellectual disabilities. A Supported Housing Apartment program is available for those who are ready to move on to a more independent living situation.

Offers services of professional registered nurses trained in the examination of survivors of rape/sexual assault. Provides immediate physical, emotional, and forensic care. Victims should report to emergency room at Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip, Stony Brook Hospital in Stony Brook, Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead, or to local police station and request sexual assault nurse examiner. Does not require police involvement.

Certified Application Counselors are available to assist patients access medical services by providing health insurance application and enrollment assistance via the New York State of Health Marketplace.

Food pantry assisting those in need within the community.

Provides information and referral, networking and advocacy regarding head injury to ensure access to all medical, residential, vocational and social systems, case management, support groups for survivors, family members and spouses/significant others in two locations, and public and professional awareness through educational in-service programs, publications, legislative advocacy and lobbying.

Provides detoxification and outpatient maintenance programs for opiate abusers. Also offer a full range of medical, psychiatric, social and vocational support services.

Our team offers mental health counseling, medication assessment, and medication prescribing for adult and pediatric clients; efforts are made for care to be targeted and brief.

Provides a shelter for those in need of immediate need of protection from outside elements. A person in need of shelter can call during business hours of 9:00 am-5:00 pm for assistance. Contact the sheriff office during after hours. This service is used by people who currently independently live but have a developing need for emergency shelter.

Conducted by a trained facilitator from SILO. Provides a safe space for people living with dementia and their care partners to develop a support system, exchange practical information on challenges and possible solutions, talk through issues and ways of coping, share feelings, needs and concerns, and learn about community resources. Meets in-person every second Tuesday of the month from 10am-11am.

Lumina is a post abortion referral network. They provide referrals to: peer groups post abortion ministries, professional therapists, counselors and clergy.

Provides preventive information to reduce the high risk of kidney disease among minorities. Also produces a brochure series for African-Americans and Hispanic populations, as well as Spanish-language brochures.

Offers individual, family and group counseling, behavior management as well as information and referral for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and autism and their families. A therapeutic, adult, social, and recreational club meet weekly to work on goals that include increasing socialization and self-advocacy skills. Also provide a transition program for adolescents going to adulthood, including case management for children and adults with developmental disabilities.
