Offers remedial courses for students in grades 6–12 to make up deficiencies in academic work. This wide variety of remedial courses can benefit students with low or failing grades. These courses help to address regression or summer slide in order to prepare students for upcoming courses. This does not replace a full course year. Residents within the ten (10) participating districts (listed below) whose children are registered in public, private or parochial schools, grades 6-12, are eligible to attend, with permission of their home school principal or designee. Non-resident students (in districts not listed below) are permitted to register after all residents are accommodated. Participating Districts for 2022 include: Babylon UFSD; Commack UFSD; Deer Park UFSD; Elwood UFSD; Huntington UFSD; Kings Park CSD; North Babylon UFSD; Northport-East Northport UFSD; South Huntington UFSD and Wyandanch UFSD (Regents Exams Only). Licensing and permits include marriage licenses, hunting/fishing/trapping licenses, disabled parking permits, and dog licenses. Other services include maintaining town records and archives. Prepares and collects property taxes for residents of the Town of Charleston from January through March 31st.After March 31st all paperwork goes to the Montgomery County Finance Department's Office.

Provides a therapy program using creative art therapies in many forms and styles to nurture an individual's emotional, physical, sensory and cognitive development. Each person is assessed and placed in an art therapy program (individual, group, dyad, family). The program focuses on children and adults with developmental or emotional disabilities, struggling with sensory, cognitive, speech/language delays, etc.

Provides in-home training to participants that is individualized to meet their specific needs.

Offers lectures, workshops, seminars, and newsletters providing the most up-to-date information on health and wellness, including nutrition, exercise, reduction of toxins in the home, and environmental safety. Provides guidance and support for newly diagnosed breast cancer patients and their families, with information on the latest scientific progress in detection, treatment and recovery. Networks with regional and national breast cancer organizations and national health organizations.

Provides evaluations to determine a child's delays and needed therapies and supports.

Offers private studios or suites with many services, including medication management, personal care services, housekeeping, recreation programs and full meal service for older adults who need some help with daily living. Nurses and health aides are available if extra help is needed for short or long-term conditions.

Offers information and outreach to community members.

Offers introduces individuals with developmental disabilities to person-centered activities including creative arts, recreation and leisure, independent living and employment preparation.

The Middle School Mingle was created by one of our Girl Scout Gold Award winners, Nia Mack, offering middle school students an opportunity to socialize in a safe space. Students will have an opportunity to partake with jumbo games like Uno, Jenga, Connect Four and so much more. Students will reveive a snack and a beverage. A $1 donation will be requested to go toward a coordinated event by the middle schoolers that attend our mingle.

The Human Services Department is responsible for the East Hampton Town's Senior Programs and offers case management/resources and helps individuals gain access to services that help address their needs.
