Information and assistance is provided for establishing Health Care Proxies, Living Wills, Supplemental Needs Trusts, and accessing long term care services. SAIL provides information and assistance to persons with disabilities, family members, and other interested parties concerning Medicare, Medicaid, and long-term care insurance. The center also provides insurance counseling and advisement for choosing the most appropriate coverage, as well as information concerning co-insurance and gap policies.

There is a growing need for skilled technicians and specialists who can enter this exciting field as growers, budtenders, dispensary staff, product managers, and marketing/sales associates. Offered as an online program, the Certificate in Cannabis Production and Management requires students to complete 24 credit hours which includes three courses in cannabis science and production, three courses in the business of legalized cannabis, one course that explores the economics of the cannabis market, and one course that addresses medicinal and health-related issues to legalized cannabis. Provides free and confidential, phone or in person counseling, where a counselor analyzes income and debt, foreclosure, etc and develops a budget and action plan, and recommends a solution. If individual qualifies for and chooses to begin a Debt Management Program, counselor will negotiate payment terms and concessions with creditors. The Rockland County Office for the Aging offers a free week-long stay at an assisted living facility. A new home care component to the program allows an individual to remain in their home with an aide for a specific period of time. Respite is available for individuals 60 and older who reside in Rockland County and have a caregiver. This program is subject to availability and funding.

Encourages genealogical research, collects and disseminates information on genealogical resources and techniques assists and educates its members and the general public in the how-to of finding one's roots promotes the preservation of and access to Jewish records and resources. The “Just Say Yes to Fruits and Vegetables (JSY)” Program provides low-income families with practical, cost-effective tips for increasing fruit and vegetable consumption. A licensed nutritionist from Feeding Westchester works with our agencies to provide hands-on nutrition education workshops and cooking demonstrations. Each workshop provides practical nutrition information using USDA approved lesson plans and recipes, using fresh fruits and vegetables. This helps to raise awareness about eating nutritious foods and preparing them in a safe manner.
