The Vision Services program provides counseling and support for adults with vision loss and other disabilities to help them live more independently. The program connects individuals with peers who share similar experiences, offering opportunities to share ideas, concerns, and life experiences. Provides 12 co-ed beds to youth in need of either a diagnostic evaluation, emergency placement, or a crisis/preventive respite stay. The youth are supervised 24 hours a day in a professionally staffed setting and are engaged in an academic program during the school year. Participants are offered case management, access to therapeutic services, and connections to quality rersources.

Provides Home Drug Alcohol & Test kits that have been purchased by the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office and are made available to residents in Suffolk County. The program aims to offer free drug test kits that can be used in privacy to assist parents and guardians with monitoring the behavior of their children who are under the age of 18. The test kits give parents a tool to engage in the critical conversations about drug use; and offers a method for parents who suspect their child may be using illegal substances to be reassured of their judgment and seek professional help if needed. A public health initiative aimed at reducing deaths and harm caused by opioid overdoses. The goal is to educate individuals, especially people who use opioids, their families, and community members, on how to recognize the signs of an overdose and respond effectively. Narcan training is provided, and emphasis is placed on calling emergency services and offering basic life support until help arrives.

Provides and supports moderate rehabilitation of single family housing that is occupied by low and very low income homeowners. Rehabilitation is undertaken to assure decent and safe housing by eliminating building code violations, removing health and safety hazards, bringing housing into compliance with HUD's Housing Quality Standards HQS, abating lead based paint conditions and adapting homes for handicapped accessibility. For eligible homeowners, RUPCO assists with initial work assessment, description, and a budget for work to be performed as well as supervision of construction. Improvements to make homes handicapped accessible also available. Financial assistance with deferred or low interest loans may also be available. Coordination with other housing programs such as Weatherization and HEAP, and County agencies including the Ulster County Department of Social Services and the Ulster County Health Department is provided as needed.
