As an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)-accredited training provider for the EPA’s Renovation, Repair, and Painting Initial and Refresher Training and the EPA’s Lead Abatement Worker and Supervisor Training, CCE Albany County offers courses several times per month throughout the Capital Region. Upon completion, students become EPA-certified renovators trained in specific work practices to prevent lead contamination. CCE educators also regularly provide lead poisoning prevention resources to the public during outreach events.
