A free, daily after-school program for students ages 9-16 years old. Offers a computer/tech room with 10 computers as well as 10 tablets that youth may use for homework or recreational purposes. Provides supervised game time in the gym as well as a game room featuring air hockey, pool, ping pong, and foosball. There is a cafeteria/program space used for a daily snack provided by the Batavia City School District. Activities include clubs, open gym and sports, active games, socialization and free choice, homework help, mentoring/tutoring, computers/game systems, community involvement, and enrichment activities. Transportation to the center is provided by the school; however, parents must arrange this with the school.

Meets the emergency needs of infants and very young children by providing them with a supply of diapers, infant formula, baby food, and baby care products. Limited quantities available.

Provides housing in a service-enriched, recovery-oriented setting for adults with psychiatric disabilities. Program is licensed by the New York State Office of Mental Health and has a residential atmosphere with individual bedrooms (Single Residence Occupancy), inviting common areas and outdoor courtyards. Other services include 24-hour staffing, daily living skills training, crisis management, medication management, linkages to medical and dental care and health education services, social/recreational assistance, and vocational/educational services among others. 80 beds available.

Provides motor vehicle and other driver services such as renewals for operator and motorcycle licenses, permits, and non-driver ID cards; amendments to all types of licenses, permits, and non-driver ID cards; conversion of out-of-state licenses to NYS licenses; renewals of registrations; new plates for passenger and commercial vehicles, trailers, and motorcycles; amendments to registrations for all vehicle types; plate transfers from one vehicle to another for all vehicle types; and plate surrender services. ##REENTRY##

John R. Oishei Children’s Hospital (OCH) is a regional center for pediatric and women’s health, located on the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus. As one of the only freestanding children's hospitals in New York State, OCH provides comprehensive care to infants, children, teens and young adults up to age 21, along with specialized women’s health services, including prenatal care, labor and delivery, and postpartum support. The hospital features a state-of-the-art labor and delivery unit and is home to a Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), the highest level of care available for critically ill or premature newborns. With 185 inpatient beds and a rooftop helipad, OCH also houses an ACS-verified Level I Pediatric Trauma Center—one of the few in the region. It is a teaching hospital affiliated with the State University of New York at Buffalo and part of the Kaleida Health system, serving patients from across Western New York and Southern Ontario.

Acts as an advocate for all county youth under age 21; assists not-for-profit agencies, organizations, and municipalities to carry out programs for youth; acts as a conduit for state aid from the New York Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) and conducts an annual funding process to distribute those funds. Also conducts various outreach efforts throughout the county; conducts needs assessment and planning activities; and maintains an extensive up-to-date website on youth services available throughout Chautauqua County.

Outpatient medical treatment health care center providing family practice, internal medicine, pediatric services, obstetrics, gynecology, pregnancy testing, pap smears, STD testing and treatment, preconception and prenatal care, and podiatry. A decision-making committee to determine eligibility and the appropriate level of services for preschool children aged 3-5. The CPSE is a multidisciplinary team established to conduct meetings to develop, review, or revise the Individual Education Program (IEP) of a student with a disability. The parent or legal guardian is included as a member of the committee.

Provides alcohol and substance use prevention / early intervention programming for schools. Offers alternative activities such as coordinating youth projects, community education on alcohol, substances, and gambling prevention, and family intervention services.

An education and support program that helps women with cancer manage the appearance-related side effects of treatment. Professional cosmetologists volunteer their expertise during group sessions. Complimentary kits containing name-brand cosmetics are distributed during group programs.

A peer-run crisis diversion center open 365 days a year. Serves individuals going through a mental health crisis or pre-crisis who prefer not to go to the hospital. Transportation may be available; call to inquire. Services include:

Provides a safe, natural, family setting for individuals to receive the care and support they need, with the independence to explore their own interests. Perfect Fit's unique residential setting welcomes individuals with warmth, compassion, and encouragement, enabling them to gain a genuine feeling of acceptance through stable relationships and community participation.

Surrogate's Court for Genesee County. Hears cases involving the affairs of decedents, including the probate of wills and the administration of estates and all matters relating to guardianships. In addition to Family Court, Surrogate’s Court also has jurisdiction in adoption proceedings.

Summer Day Camp for children in grades K-6, with leadership development programs available for older campers. Campers work with peer groups and enjoy a variety of both indoor and outdoor games and activities. Each week is based around a special theme with age appropriate activities like sports and games, arts and crafts, weekly field trips, archery, the opportunity for swim lessons through a partnership with the Medina Recreation Program, and more. Parents can choose a 5-day or 3-day option depending on their needs. YMCA summer camps are certified by the New York State Health Department and adhere to strict safety regulations. Financial aid assistance is available for those who apply and qualify.
