Monday through Friday, seniors gather at different sites throughout Orange County to be served a nutritious noontime meal while enjoying social, health and educational programs, as well as nutrition education and counseling with a registered dietician. Reservations to attend a dining site are required 24-hours in advance.

Offers a community outreach program for at risk youth, residents, organizations and businesses in the Incorporated Village of Hempstead aimed at reducing gun violence and strengthening the community through partnership, provides referrals to appropriate agencies, educational and employment assessments along with crisis intervention and conflict mediation.

Assesses and maintains records of all properties in the Town of Coeymans.

Offers child care providers, over the age of 18 and licensed or registered by New York State Office of Children and Family Services, the MAT (Medication Administration Training) certifying child care providers to administer medication to children in their programs. Also offers parents and child care providers health care consults with RN's on any issue regarding MAT and non-MAT Health Care Programs. Will conduct site visits to ensure compliance with state child care regulations and act as resources for child care providers.

Prevent infant sleep-related deaths with information for parents and caregivers on the importance of practicing safe sleep and by providing portable cribs to families in need.

Conducts support groups led by certified social workers for rape victims, incest victims and families of homicide victims.

Provides inpatient nursing care for people requiring continuous care due to age, illness, injury, disability or post hospitalization, including a specialized unit for ventilator-dependent patients. Also offers a secured wing for those with Alzheimer's or other memory-impaired disabilities.

Children and Family Grieving Services promote healing by providing an opportunity for youth to express their thoughts, verbalize their feelings, and share their experiences of grief. This is accomplished through art, music, books, and discussions. We service young children ages 6 through teens through the Thriving Families Grief Support Group.

Provides subsidies to employed persons for the cost of day care for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years in certified day care homes, day care centers, group homes, or acceptable informal providers.

Offers evening and weekend recreation for children, teenagers, and adults that include socialization, exercise, and leisure activites.

Helps students and parents deal with school related issues regarding courses, behavioral problems, stress, violence, etc.

Promotes and unifies the retail commercial, service and industrial businesses of Oyster Bay and East Norwich as well as the professional leaders and institutions of the community. Advances community interests through study,research and legislative advocacy. Invests in the economic growth and development of the community.

Offers a 10 week session to promote positive peer relationships among children with an autism spectrum disorder and/or a developmental disability. The sessions are comprised of role playing, emotional recognition, social stories and scripting. This is a private pay program and the fee is based upon the families yearly income.
