The Sanctuary provides shelter for runaway and homeless youth 12-17 years of age and youth in need of respite services. The Children's Village has operated the program since 2009 and is located on the main campus in Valhalla, NY. Transportation is provided from anywhere in Rockland to the shelter, to and from school, medical appointments, services, etc. In addition, The Sanctuary offers individual, family and group counseling that encourages the involvement of parents or legal guardians; information and referrals, outreach to local youth; and aftercare plans.

Provides both non-emergency and emergency transportation to and from vet appointments for the older adults and people with disabilities. Adoption and foster care information are also offered.

The Environmental Health unit is responsible for investigation of all domestic and wild animal bites for the prevention of rabies. Bite investigations include proper follow-up and quarantine and/or euthanasia of suspect animals to prevent the transmission of rabies to humans. The program also administers quarterly vaccination clinics for cats dogs and ferrets.

Operates Kindergarten through 5th grade classes.

Collects taxes and assessments levied on real property within the Town and Dix Hills Water fees. Maintains tax rolls which include ownership changes and listings of taxes in arrears. Calculates taxes on apportionments and erroneous assessments. Sends out annual tax bills.

Provides trauma psychotherapy and bereavement counseling to family members.

A free public elementary school serving students in grades Kindergarten through 6th living within the district boundaries. GAMS Tech school of choice program gives students the opportunity to explore the science and technology fields.

Assesses and maintains records of all properties in the Town of Claverack.

Offers programs to students ages 14 – 21 in grades 9th - 12th. The 12:1:4 Program at Premm Learning Center emphasizes a multi-sensory approach to learning. Emphasis is placed on improving cognition, sensory motor skills development and use of adaptive equipment to aid movement and independence. Students placed in the 12:1:4 class component are non-ambulatory and are dependent upon staff for meeting their needs throughout the school day. Classroom instruction is provided with hand over hand assistance. Related services of speech, occupational therapy and physical therapy are provided on a group push-in basis. All students are assessed using the New York State Alternate Assessment. Programs are offered at various locations.

Fall-Spring Family Programs provide respite needs while spreading the mission of health and happiness to children and families. Weekends include: Diabetes weekend, an Oncology camp for women, and an Autism weekend. Activities such as the ropes course, swimming, boating and other team building activities are offered.

Provides holiday meals on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter Sunday, either as sit down or to-go meals.

Provides a comprehensive after-school program which includes educational, recreational, and social activities for children. Provides supervision for children during hours when the parents are still at work and children would otherwise be unsupervised.

The Hudson Valley Justice Center offers direct representation and advice to low income residents of Westchester, Orange Ulster, Sullivan, Putnam and Dutchess Counties direct representation and advice regardless of immigration status. HVJC will prioritize cases where clients are ineligible for other rental assistance programs.Counties The office focuses on the following areas of law: Eviction defense and other landlord-tenant disputes, domestic violence, Benefits hearings for eligible citizens, Immigration, Family Law Matters.

Provides individuals and families with social advocacy and support around navigating the complicated world of applying for jobs, social services programs such as Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security. Under grants from Suffolk County Department of Labor and United Way, will provide paid employment and job training opportunities to youth ages 16 - 20. In partnership with the Urban League, will provide paid employment and on the job training opportunities for adults who are eligible to work under Title V of the Older Americans Act

Provides general dental care for adults and children.

Guests are served a nutritious, home-cooked meal, which includes soup, salad, fruit cup, hot entree, vegetables, dessert, bread and beverages. Hot meals are served to-go. Take-home bags are also provided, which include a sandwich, fruit and a sweet.

Offers a public education to children who are residents at the Cottage, and those receiving day treatment, and focuses the curriculum to enhance their abilities and to graduate high school, and transition to the working work or to their community.

Provides systems change advocacy, training and support to other advocates and organizations, and high quality direct civil legal representation to protect and strengthen the legal rights of people in New York State who are poor, disabled or disenfranchised.

Court-ordered batterer's program for perpetrators of domestic abuse for men who have difficulty controlling their emotions.

Provides information, referrals, and assessments for formerly incarcerated individuals who may need information on attaining basic needs, employment, housing or other needed services in the community.

The community center serves as a safe, supervised, drug and alcohol free facility for children, adolescents and adults. The center is operated year-round and features ping-pong, pool, foosball, and air hockey tables, a TV lounge, kitchen, video game room, vending machines and a spacious outdoor deck, including an outdoor, lighted basketball court. The center is also available to rent for various private events.

Serves as the Clerk of Supreme and County Court. The Court Actions Division has been divided into two areas of expertise: Criminal and Civil. The Criminal Court Actions Unit only handles Felony Level criminal court actions, highway takings (condemned property for purposes of new highways and other condemnations) and associated maps. Misdemeanors and violations are handled by the District Court or the various Justice Courts. The Civil Court Actions Unit processes all civil court action commenced in Suffolk County as well as confessions of Judgment, Judgments of Foreclosure and Judgments of Divorce, Veteran's Discharges, County Appointments, Oaths of Office, Firemen's Exempt Certificates, Street Name Changes, Designation of Restricted Highways, Local Town Emergency Orders and other miscellaneous documents required or authorized by law to be filed in this Office. Lis Pendens and other recordables, such as name changes are also processed by this division. Provides law enforcement services for the Town of Niskayuna.

Provides a comprehensive early childhood developmental program for children ages 3-5 of low income families as well as family support services. Specific education, health and social services objectives focus on cognitive and intellectual development, physical and mental health, as well as the nutritional needs of the child.
