Food Pantry

Provides young adults who may be interested in a career in law enforcement with a comprehensive program of training, competition, leadership skills, service and practical experiences. The program is based on Five Areas of Emphasis: Career Opportunities; Life Skills; Citizenship; Character Education and Leadership Experience. An important goal of law enforcement exploring is to help young adults be responsible and caring people, both now and in the future using “character education activities” which helps young adults develop the ability to make responsible choices. It aids teens in becoming more independent, developing social relationships, re-evaluating values while also undergoing positive physical and psychological changes. This program has 4 components: Gardening - 6 gardens provide fresh produce for local residents who participate in clean-ups, planning, harvesting, and other garden activities. School and Community-based environmental education. Enviro-Earth Club - which cultivates local environmental leaders by educating and motivating urban youth about gardening and the environment, while promoting health eating and living among the participants and their families. Special Community Events such as barbeques, art projects and street fairs.

Offers a wide variety of medical services including an ambulatory surgical unit, centre for communication and swallowing disorders, hyperbaric oxygen therapy and a center for sleep medicine. Also provides emergency services, inpatient dialysis treatment, endoscopic diagnostics, community care, radiology and physical therapy.

Offers programs to students ages 11 – 12 in grades 6th – 8th. The Middle School Level Programs include: The Center-Based Functional Academic Skills Program. The Functional Academic Skills Program at Premm Learning Center services students with moderate to severe development disabilities. The primary goal of the program is to maximize each student's potential and to teach skills that will enable them to become as independent as possible within the confines of their disability. Program components include academics with an emphasis on functional skill development, utilizing a modified Common Core Curriculum. Behavior management, independent living and social skills are also addressed. Functional assessments of behavior and behavior intervention plans are implemented for support when needed. The 12:1:4 Program at Premm Learning Center emphasizes a multi-sensory approach to learning. Emphasis is placed on improving cognition, sensory motor skills development and use of adaptive equipment to aid movement and independence. Students placed in the 12:1:4 class component are non-ambulatory and are dependent upon staff for meeting their needs throughout the school day. Classroom instruction is provided with hand over hand assistance. Related services of speech, occupational therapy and physical therapy are provided on a group push-in basis. All students are assessed using the New York State Alternate Assessment. Programs are offered at various locations.

Provides industry-aligned career training and experiences empowering adults by assisting them with acquiring the employable skills necessary to assimilate into the 21st-century workforce. Our students benefit from industrial connections, on-site technical training, and job related certifications in order to become more knowledgeable, and successful employees. Our English as a Second Language (ESL) courses are for students whose native language is not English and want to improve speaking, reading and writing skills. Our High School Equivalency program prepares students to earn a New York State Equivalency Diploma by successfully completing the New York State Testing Assessing Secondary Completion (TASC®) exam. Instruction is based on the content of the test, which includes Math, Reading, Writing, Social Studies and Science. Our programs for Adults with Disabilities providing training for adults and youth who are looking to enter the job force for the first time or want to make a career change. Provides a program to help those who are dependent on opiates and other addictive substances through methadone treatments and counseling.

Maintains a list of advertised rental apartments and makes this list available for anyone to view. Helps apartment seekers develop strategies for locating housing. Provides information and guidelines on how to apply for certain affordable and subsidized housing.

Provides medical transportation from various areas around the state in time of emergency.

ARC provides various programs to children with serious emotional disturbances residing with their family or guardian. The programs are as follows: Overnight Children's Respite Care: Provides overnight respite care to children in a community based setting, In-Home Respite: Provides individual oversight and supervision to children, in their homes or in the community at times parents/guardians need assistance.
