The overarching goal of the Campaign for Achievement is academic and social improvement for youth populations, as well as overall developmental growth. Programmatic curriculum is comprised of three critical components to address the academic, personal and social needs of participating youth: academic development, social development, and cultural and global awareness.

Offers a social model program for frail or isolated seniors, or those with memory loss, Alzheimer's or dementia that need monitoring and structured programming. The program includes wide range of therapeutic and recreational activities, meals, outings, and assistance with daily living skills.

Ensures that the people who have been diagnosed as being HIV or having AIDS receive all the services and benefits for which they are entitled from the Department of Social Services and many public and private helping agencies. The Department has a dedicated HIV/Aids caseworker who assists visitors. Provides evaluation, fitting and training for SAEBO FLEX and SAEBO REACH orthotics that enable stroke and brain injury survivors to use their hand and arm for grasping and releasing.

Provides education and tools that help people make smarter financial decisions that will improve their lives and strengthen their futures, at no cost to the organization and/or the employee, and clients. The program focuses on corporations, agencies and organizations, including those organizations that serve people with disabilities, seniors and domestic violence victims.

Friends foster closer relations between the library and the community support the library's functions, resources, services and needs and encourage benefactions, gifts, endowments and bequests to the Hillside Public Library.

Offers Tennis Camp for ages 6-15 which is designed to challenge and engage players of all levels and abilities. Each day, our expert coaches will run through a myriad of drills and instructional stations to build confidence and improve technique. Through low camper to coach ratios, varied on and off court activities, and the finest pro staff, campers will not only come away as better players, but will develop a greater love and appreciation for the sport of a lifetime. Assists low-income youth between the ages of 14-20 to secure employment during the summer months. Youth are mentored in work readiness skills, effective communication and career exploration activities.

Offers a community based program that provides mental health services in the home or community. Services include counseling, medication management, peer services and case management. Community Residences are home-like programs for youth with mental health needs. CRs offer supervision, structure, care coordination, skill building and behavior support. The goal of a CR is to assist youth in achieving their best level of functioning so that they can be successful in school and at home when they return to their home and community. Residential Treatment Facilities are therapeutic programs that provide inpatient psychiatric treatment to youth with complex mental health needs and support to their families. Support group for people with heart disease. Meeting the third Thursday of the month at 3:30 pm in the auditorium of the administrative services building at Benedictine. Volunteers also available for friendly visiting while someone is hospitalized for a heart condition.

Provides information about local government offices and services.

Sponsors programs on art and art history for the scholarly community and for the general public. Houses research collections on the art of Jackson Pollock and Lee Krasner and their contemporaries. Located in East Hampton, the center is open to the public: May to October; Tuesdays-Sundays. The center, a National Historic Landmark, is operated as an historic site and research facility, and consists of the artists' house, their studio, and the study center containing the art reference library. Learn to kayak with staff from the Town of Plattsburgh Recreation Department. All equipment is provided. Participants will have the opportunity to safely experience kayaking on the Saranac River from the Cadyville Beach. Participants must be 10-12 years old and be able to swim. The program provides crisis intervention, accompaniment to criminal and family court, police, District Attorney's office, forensic rape exam. Serves as a liaison to the Nassau County Multi Disciplinary Team and service providers. Assists in completing Crime Victim's Compensation.
