Promotes and fosters growth for LGBT-affirming and welcoming businesses of all types and sizes, especially LGBT-owned businesses, through networking, education, and uniting the broader business community.

Offers transportation for senior citizens through the Dial-A-Ride program within the Town limits for weekly food shopping, monthly banking and medical appointments. Offers Home Aide program which provides light housekeeping, shopping, laundry and errands for eligible seniors. Minor home repairs are also available. Homeowners only pay for the materials, not labor. Offers Meals on Wheels program which delivers hot noontime meals on weekdays to homebound seniors and/or those unable to cook for themselves. GAP offers a variety of recreational experiences in an atmosphere of acceptance and friendship. Activities are varied but usually include arts and crafts, sports, table games, music time and dancing. Frequent trips are also scheduled. GAP participants have attended plays, sports events, restaurants, museums, farms, and special children shows. GAP offers a variety of fall, winter, spring, evening and weekend programs. It also offers summer programs, including a six week summer camp. Provides walk-in or phone-in help for individuals and families experiencing a wide variety of needs, such as temporary emergencies for food, utility shutoffs, potential loss of housing or other essential resources. Offers community advocacy, supportive counseling and linkage to other Family Service League programs, as well as government and community agencies.

The 2024-2025 Regular HEAP benefit opened on November 1, 2024. The 2024-2025 First and Second Emergency is scheduled to open January 2, 2025. The 2024-2025 Heating Equipment Repair and Replacement benefit opened on October 1, 2024. The 2024-2025 HEAP Clean and Tune benefit opened on October 1, 2024. The 2024-2025 Cooling Assistance Benefit is schedule to open on April 15, 2025.
