Program assists job seekers to succeed in the job market by providing guidance to improve job readiness skills, resume writing, and job search strategies. Also provides career guidance and one-on-one consulting.

Provides an on-site emergency food pantry for residents of specific streets in the City of Lockport (call for details) and information on meal planning and budgeting. Provides rent, mortgage, and utility payment assistance to low income individuals and families when funds are available; funds are currently unavailable. Fair Housing Advocacy Program assists individuals who feel they are victims of discrimination when purchasing or renting a home. Provides information, assessment, and referral to the appropriate federal, state, or local human rights agency or court. Provides housing location services and landlord/tenant advocacy. Individual advocacy, information and referral, application assistance, asset management, and budget counseling are also available.

Self help group for anyone struggling with depression, anxiety, panic attacks, low self-esteem, stress, fears of any kind, or anger that is getting in the way of social, work, and home life. Other interested persons are welcome to attend as observers. Group meets weekly.

Provides comprehensive management of diabetes and its complications, diabetes and pregnancy, gestational diabetes, bone and mineral metabolism, and other endocrine disorders to adult patients. Also offers a diabetes self-management education program coordinated by a registered dietician.

To assist with readjustment and transition home through a multi-disciplinary approach in a timely, respectful, collaborative manner. The team will provide care coordination, specialized assistance and individualized services for military personnel and their families during this adjustment process, in all stages of deployment. Provide care management services which include but are not limited to psychoeducation, address readjustment issues, coordination of health care needs, provision of informational resources, support to family members, and address grief and loss issues. ##Veteran##

Peer advocates are trained to offer support, information, and advocacy to those involved in unhealthy or abusive dating relationships as well as concerned parents, teachers, clergy, law enforcement, and service providers. Program encourages families to play, learn, and develop social skills together in the indoor play room. When weather permits, children may use the center's outdoor play facility. Parents or guardians must accompany children at all times during visits. One day per week there is a structured playgroup for ages 18 months to 5 years.

Provides substance use disorder and mental health treatment. Services include substance use disorder evaluation, treatment including individual and group therapy, medication assisted treatment (MAT) including Buprenorphine (Suboxone), Vivitrol, and Naltrexone, drug and alcohol testing, mental health counseling and medication management, family counseling, adolescent counseling, peer support, and impaired driver evaluation. Certified by the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (NYS OASAS). All services are strictly confidential. The Niagara Falls facility is located on the corner of Third Street and Rainbow Avenue. Park in the side lot and enter through the door facing 3rd Street. An academically based summer camp designed specifically for young children entering kindergarten in September 2022. Includes developmentally appropriate learning experiences and activities that build upon and strengthen skills necessary for kindergarten. Themes and activities are planned and taught by certified preschool and kindergarten teachers from surrounding school districts. Kindercamp runs from July 11th-15th, 2022. Children attend camp Monday-Thursday, either in the morning or afternoon session. Morning session runs from 9am-12 noon and afternoon session runs from 1pm-4pm. A family kindergarten readiness workshop is held on the last day of camp, during which parents have the opportunity to learn about kindergarten registration and procedures as well as how they can support their children’s transition into kindergarten at home.

Offers fully integrated mental health and substance use disorder treatment and services for children, adolescents, and adults. Services include:

• Counseling and medication treatment services for a variety of mental health and substance use disorders
• Psychiatric evaluations
• Substance use disorder medication assisted treatment
• Health care screening and monitoring to promote overall health
• Skills building, education assistance, and vocational services
• Targeted case management and peer services

A comprehensive child development Head Start/Preschool program children including children with disabilities and their families. Early Head Start: provides early, continuous, intensive, and comprehensive child development and family support services to low-income infants and toddlers and their families, and pregnant women and their families. Provides early learning, care and enrichment experiences to children in an early care and education setting. Staff members also visit family homes at least twice per year.

Life Skills Advocates manage monthly SSI and SSDI benefits for consumers. Program ensures that SSI/SSDI consumers who need assistance with their finances have their basic housing and medical needs managed each month to make certain that they are safe and secure in their housing. After all basic housing and medical needs are paid, any surplus funds are provided to the consumers in weekly Personal Needs Allowance (PNA).

Public library. Offers public access computers, Wi-Fi, meeting room, copy machine, cookbook club, adult craft night, book club, and story time, along with various seasonal programming for kids and adults. Serves as a Cooling Center for individuals during times of excessive heat. Always call ahead to make sure a Cooling Center is open before going there.

Provides a 24-hour crisis intervention hotline, 24-hour advocacy, group counseling, transportation, court accompaniment and preparation, and compensation claim form assistance through NYS Office of Victim Services. Office is at a secure location, which is shared with clients at the time of intake.

Day program for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities who want to be more involved in their community, but for whom employment is not appropriate. Services include community outings and interaction with others outside of their family.

Offers fitness and social opportunities for older adults, including group exercise programs such as SilverSneakers and Silver&Fit. Also hosts weekly card groups that provide a fun, social environment for seniors to connect and build community.
