An academically based summer camp designed specifically for young children entering kindergarten in September 2022. Includes developmentally appropriate learning experiences and activities that build upon and strengthen skills necessary for kindergarten. Themes and activities are planned and taught by certified preschool and kindergarten teachers from surrounding school districts.
Kindercamp runs from July 11th-15th, 2022. Children attend camp Monday-Thursday, either in the morning or afternoon session. Morning session runs from 9am-12 noon and afternoon session runs from 1pm-4pm. A family kindergarten readiness workshop is held on the last day of camp, during which parents have the opportunity to learn about kindergarten registration and procedures as well as how they can support their children’s transition into kindergarten at home.
