The home one lives in, the neighborhood, nearby amenities, and the proximity to needed services all play a key role in the individual’s overall quality of life.

Yorktown Senior Services offers transportation for seniors to and from the Senior Nutrition Center, local supermarkets on Tuesdays, local shopping from Beaver Ridge on Tuesdays and local shopping from Jefferson Village on Wednesdays. Separately, individuals can schedule rides for medical appointments, shopping, cultural events, hairdresser appointments and errands via RideConnect at the second number listed above. The transportation is provided by volunteers and the RideConnect bus.
