Offers the program Certified Recovery Peer Advocate. Peer support services are an important part of the treatment and recovery process. Certified Recovery Peer Advocates (CRPAs) draw from personal experience with substance use, and professional training to provide non-clinical support services as identified in the patient's treatment or recovery plan. CPRAs may also help those in treatment/recovery in the development of recovery plans, effective coping habits, and life skills for navigating recovery. Although peer services emphasize the knowledge and wisdom of lived experience with addiction, peers are encouraged to be extremely calculated in how they share their story or pull from first-hand knowledge to ensure that it benefits program participants. Provides legal assistance to people who are experiencing student debt problems, including unpaid tuition bills, collection actions, and managing federal and private student loans. Services include student loan counseling, litigation defense and representation, and phone advice.

In partnership with the Southern Adirondack Library System, CFC distributes local produce and fresh foods to 14 libraries throughout the region every week. Offers two programs in Home Inspection at Molloy College: one program for currently licensed home inspectors to maintain their NY State license and another for individuals to become licensed in NY State. Both programs are offered at our Rockville Centre, as well as at our Suffolk Center at Republic Airport. Molloy College offers continuing education courses for home inspectors to maintain their New York State license. Molloy College offers a New York state-approved program for you to become a licensed home inspector. Molloy College offers the approved 140-hour course of study consisting of the 5 Modules. The following five modules are offered: Home Inspection Module 1: Structure, roofing and exteriors; Home Inspection Module 2: Interiors, electrical systems, insulation and ventilation; Home Inspection Module 3: Heating, cooling and plumbing; Home Inspection Module 4: License law, overview of profession and report writing and Home Inspection Module 5: Field training. Provide needed support services pertaining to personal LGBTQI issues or referrals to other agencies for support services, outreach, education and advocacy on issues affecting the LGBTQI community.

Provides a hospital program located at South Oaks in Amityville which offers an educational program for hospitalized adolescents. Both disabled and non-disabled students can enroll in this program. Close contact is established initially with each child's home school guidance counselor to identify the level of instruction needed. The education program at South Oaks, consisting of basic high school subjects in English, social studies, mathematics and science, and is considered an integral part of the treatment program by hospital administration. The educational staff works in partnership with doctors, nurses and psychologists to facilitate comprehensive treatment. Call for more detailed information.

Teen Leadership Rockland is a leadership development program for sophomore level high school students. The program connects students with leadership potential with peers and community leaders through interactive seminars.

Provides information, including online resources about autism, current treatment, care options and more. Also helps with referrals to medical and support services for individuals diagnosed with autism and their families.

Offers a class for children, ages three and up, to prepare for their new roles as big brother or big sister. Provides age appropriate information on fetal development, newborn safety, diaper changing and how to hold their new sibling. Awarding of an official Big Brother-Big Sister certificate and a tour of the newborn nursery will occur at the end of the program.
