Community Mediation is to promote alternative dispute resolution processes that enable individuals, community/neighborhood groups, and organizations to resolve conflicts without litigation; and to improve community group and personal relationships through Animal Complaints, Breach of Contract, Consumer / Merchant, Contractor / Client, Employer / Employee, Interpersonal Disputes, Landlord / Tenant, Neighbor Disputes, Workplace Disputes.

Provides Reference, Information and Referral,and Readers Advisory. Offers Defensive Driving, Blood Pressure Screening and a wide range of programs including career guidance, book discussions, arts and crafts, performances and films, and computer instruction.

Operates Pre-K through 8th grade classes.

Offers support groups for individuals with early-stage Alzheimer's, caregivers,and adult children of Alzheimer's patients. Call for locations and times.

Provides project-based section 8 housing for seniors and adults with disabilities.

Provides the courts needed for small claims, civil, criminal and traffic issues.

Offers a year-round program for high school students. Beginning Spring 2025 volunteers must be at least 15 years old and are required to complete 100 hours commitment in their first year. Preference will be given to students who can volunteer during the week. The number of volunteers we accept is based on hospital needs and the number of volunteer positions available. Offers courses where you will learn the basics of analytics including the basics of information description such as qualitative and quantitative data, conducting group comparisons, understanding probability distributions, how to create developing hypothesis tests, creating prediction models used in machine learning such as regression, and how to apply the techniques for business solutions. In the first part you will use Excel to understand how to describe data, and categorize different variables, as well as understand how data is distributed. In addition, you will learn about probability and its importance in conducting analysis. Finally, the course will show you how to generate appropriate sample sizes for testing. The second part uses excel to conduct confidence intervals for population parameters, understanding group comparisons such as the t-test. You will also use Excel to develop simple regression models, and multiple regression for predictions. Regression topics will include the inclusion of dummy variables for categorical variables, transformation of dependent variables, and assessing the prediction model. Sample course offerings include: Basics of Analytics - Understanding Data and Analysis and Statistical Concepts and Machine Learning Introduction. Courses vary each semester. Monday through Friday, seniors gather at different sites throughout Orange County to be served a nutritious noontime meal while enjoying social, health and educational programs, as well as nutrition education and counseling with a registered dietician. Reservations to attend a dining site are required 24-hours in advance.

Offers a community outreach program for at risk youth, residents, organizations and businesses in the Incorporated Village of Hempstead aimed at reducing gun violence and strengthening the community through partnership, provides referrals to appropriate agencies, educational and employment assessments along with crisis intervention and conflict mediation.

Assesses and maintains records of all properties in the Town of Coeymans.

Offers child care providers, over the age of 18 and licensed or registered by New York State Office of Children and Family Services, the MAT (Medication Administration Training) certifying child care providers to administer medication to children in their programs. Also offers parents and child care providers health care consults with RN's on any issue regarding MAT and non-MAT Health Care Programs. Will conduct site visits to ensure compliance with state child care regulations and act as resources for child care providers.

Provides inpatient nursing care for people requiring continuous care due to age, illness, injury, disability or post hospitalization, including a specialized unit for ventilator-dependent patients. Also offers a secured wing for those with Alzheimer's or other memory-impaired disabilities.
