Provides easy, local access to information and assistance for consumers and their families who are exploring available options for long term care. An effort is made to provide all available care options so as to enable consumers to remain at home. Also conducts screenings to determine eligibility for different services. Will conduct in-home assessments as necessary. Serves as the point of contact for the Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Program, which provides low-income seniors with coupons that can be exchanged for eligible foods (fruits, vegetables, honey, and fresh-cut herbs) at farmers' markets, roadside stands, and community supported agriculture (CSA) programs.

Provides primary medical care for adults 18 and over along with lab work which includes blood draws, cultures, EKG, and X-ray. Health education and counseling offered.

Comprehensive job center where both job seekers and employers can access a wide variety of free employment and training-related services under one roof. Helps job seekers with planning their careers through recommendations as to which resources might be most helpful for specific situations. Sells gently-used clothing, household items, and furniture at value prices to support the workforce development programs that help people find jobs and build careers. Donations gratefully accepted.

Provides Care Coordination, referral, monitoring, and access point for children and adults with serious mental illness, emotional problems, and/or behavioral problems who need more intensive support and care coordination.

Provides a range of resources to help parents needing child care, people who want to start or are currently running child care programs, and anyone with a concern about the health or safety of a child in a day care program. Monitors and provides technical assistance to child care providers. Oversight is aimed at the provision of safe quality services.

Provides a welcoming environment for parents and other other caregivers of teenagers with autism spectrum disorders to meet, share experiences, ask questions, and receive support. All are welcome to attend, but the group is geared towards parents of teenagers who may be transitioning to higher education, employment, and/or independent living. A group for Teens with Asperger's will be available at the same time; please call for information and registration. Group meets in the rear conference room of Wegman's on 601 Amherst Street, Buffalo, NY 14207. Please contact if participation is limited by lack of transportation or other barriers.

A decision-making committee to determine eligibility and the appropriate level of services for preschool children aged 3-5. The CPSE is a multidisciplinary team established to conduct meetings to develop, review, or revise the Individual Education Program (IEP) of a student with a disability. The parent or legal guardian is included as a member of the committee.

Laryngectomy support group for the WNY area. Members of the New Voice Club also visit approximately 40 Buffalo area schools each year, teaching youth how to avoid picking up a deadly tobacco addiction.

Walk-in center where clients can learn about and sign up for the Goodskills Career Builder program, which provides targeted skills training, workforce readiness, and job placement services into higher wage careers. Four-week training is provided at no charge and connects participants directly with hiring employers in advanced manufacturing and technology. Upon graduation, all participants receive a $500 stipend for work completed during the hands-on portion of training and access to an expert Goodskills Career Coach for up to three years.

Provides respite for individuals in their own homes. Overnight respite is not available.
