Septic tank reimbursement program helps to cover the cost to residential or commercial property owners for pump-out and/or inspection of separate sewage disposal systems on property in Westchester County Sewer Districts and which are subject to sewer taxes. The program is effective from September 3, 2008 until September 2, 2014. Healthy Kids is a joint endeavor between Samaritan Hospital and Rensselaer County Department of Social Services This is a unique home visitation program. The program is voluntary and free to participants. Family support workers provide a range of services, including childbirth education, infant care and child development, family planning options, assistance with obtaining transportation, meal planning, and referral to community agencies.

Volunteers sort and pack emergency food for distribution to agencies. Assists with clerical duties and helps out at special events and food drives. Weekdays, 8am-4:30pm. Volunteers assist at special fund-raising events held throughout the year on weekends.
