Free weekly online breastfeeding support group for pregnant and breastfeeding parents and families. Hosted virtually in English and Spanish by lactation consultants on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Provides day programs that assist individuals with developmental disabilities, acquire, retain or improve their self-help, socialization and adaptive skills including communication, travel and other areas in adult education. Activities and environments are designed to foster the development of skills and appropriate behavior, greater independence, community inclusion, relationship building, self-advocacy and informed choice.

Offers general legal aid to people 200 percent below the poverty income guidelines.

Provides a licensed and supervised adult home with a family-like environment for adults with developmental disabilities.

Provides counseling to individuals with epilepsy and their families to help manage the disorder and adjust to the impact of the impact of epilepsy on their lives. Offers individualized counseling for adults, children, and families.

Collaborates with Literacy Suffolk, Inc. to offer services of trained literacy volunteers. Provides help with reading/writing skills and English as a second language (ESOL). Offers support services for tutors, clients. Conducts interviews with clients, tutors prior to inclusion in program. Call for information/appointment.

Handles legal matters including civil, criminal, small claims, and eviction cases within the Town of Mayfield.

Provides free or low cost counseling for parents and teens. Refers to other community resources when appropriate. Volunteer opportunities available. Office is based in Woodstock and therapy sessions are held at the office. Transportation is not provided.

Food bank/pantry that organizes the collection of food donations and distribute to those in need.

Provides Information, Reference and Referral Services and Readers Advisory Programs from birth through fourth grades. Programs and services include but are not limited to book discussions, kidnastics, Parent-Child Workshop, arts and crafts, movies, concerts, summer reading clubs, and storytimes.

Assesses and maintains records of all properties in the Town of Moreau.

Offers various living options for individuals with mental illness, such as congregate living with 24-hour staff support and supervision, or independent apartment living, also includes help with developing or re-learning the skills of daily living, with the focus on stabilization with continued recovery. Has various residential locations throughout Putnam and Westchester.

Trains teenagers as peer volunteers, to make awareness and prevention presentations on AIDS/HIV.

Permanent housing program that provides housing and support services to both individuals and families. Summit offers residents support services including: recreation and socialization, medication management, home improvement seminars, financial planning, parent skill training, employment assistance. Staff are available 24 hours a day for crisis management.

Raises funds for the charities and organizations that serve the Manhasset community by public contributions from individuals and businesses in Manhasset, and to distribute those funds among participating charitable institutions. The organizations we fund bring relief and hope to our community. Over the years, your donation has: supported programs for children of the working poor, taught job skills to those with learning challenges, reduced senior loneliness, supported families coping with cancer, fed families struggling to make ends meet and raised awareness on mental health issues. The Fund may also, from time to time, distribute monies to non-participating charities on an emergency or special needs basis.

Offers outpatient evaluation and treatment services to individuals with communication, voice, or cognitive problems, including a number of different therapies for swallowing disorders.

Provides host families which allow a child and parent to stay in their home while the child is receiving treatment by a local physician or medical center.

Offers a rental, retirement residence with supportive living. Studios, one and two bedroom apartments are available with no long term commitment required.
