A multi-faceted child care agency serving Long Island and New York City children. There are thirteen programs offered in various locations including a campus setting in Syosset, group homes for boys and girls in Nassau and Suffolk, Preventive Service offices in West Hempstead and South Ozone Park, and foster boarding homes located in Brooklyn, Far Rockaway, and throughout the New York Metropolitan area. Children served in our programs are dependent, neglected, abused, or court ordered into mercyFirst as the result of PINS (Persons in need of Supervision) or JD (Juvenile Delinquent) behaviors.

Provides youth with a safe and nurturing environment when staying at home is not possible. All youth are assigned to a treatment team that develops a personalized intervention plan, including an on-campus school. Campus programs include: S.T.A.R.T. with Hope (short-term shelter for unaccompanied refugee children until they are reunified with a sponsor family), R.I.S.E./Raise the Age Juvenile Program (legislation to raise the age of criminal responsibility to 18 years of age. Youth who commit non-violent crimes will receive age appropriate housing and programming to lower their risk of re-offense), and Justice Involved Youth. All programs include: Case Management, Behavioral Health Services, Physical Health Services, Creative Arts and Animal Assisted Therapies, Recreational Services, and Educational Evaluations and an On-Campus School (operated by NYC DOE).
