Offers a premier connection to Jobscan providing access to the best tools empowering job seekers so they can land their dream jobs. Resources provide jobseekers notifications to hiring events and other career expos focusing on veteran and military spouse hiring. The Warrior’s Compass Team will assist in areas of Job searching, resume review, interview support, career resources, career mapping and mentorship. Career coaching support is a proactive approach to building career mental fitness.

Offers a food pantry for veterans. Once registered with the proper veteran’s documentation, the veteran may come to the food pantry once per week for food distributions; toiletries and other supplies are issued monthly. Offer services to veterans of military service which include employer information, education, training and credentialing, as well as links to federal resources.

Provides wrap around services and temporary financial assistance(TFA). The services offered include, but are not limited to, emergency housing referrals, assistance searching for housing, connection to local, state and federal benefits, employment and training services, financial literacy services, budget advisory, rental and arrears assistance, utility arrears, security deposits, storage and moving costs, temporary financial assistance and connection to child care providers.

Provides emergency relief to help cover expenses such as utility bills, mortgage and rent payments, car payments and repairs, auto insurance, home repair, food and household supplies, medical bills and copayments. Also offers Holiday financial assistance.

Offers The Veteran's Business Program; a service of the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) which is a program designed to enable men and women who have served in the Armed Forces to take full advantage of the opportunities presented by owning and operating their own business. In addition to the comprehensive services offered by the SBDC, the Veteran's Business Program also offers mentorship and networking services designed for veteran business owners. Provides a food pantry for Veterans, the Military and their families, and families in need. LI Cares hosts Military Appreciation Tuesdays in Huntington Station, Lindenhurst, and Freeport which gives veterans and their families access to food, personal care items, household products, pet food, and school supplies. Also veterans are provided with information and resources pertaining to veteran special benefits. LI Cares also operates a Mobile Pantry which delivers nutritious groceries to homebound, disabled veterans unable to access their local pantries.

Membership is restricted to the combat wounded, but MOPH provides support to all veterans and their dependents throughout the United States. The Supportive Services for Veteran Families(SSVF) program prevents homelessness by helping very low-income Veterans and their families gain access to the resources they need in order to successfully transition to, or maintain, permanent housing.

Provides three residential treatment facilities exclusively for veterans struggling with chemical dependency, post-traumatic stress disorder and other life challenges. They are located in Manhattan, Richmond Hill, Queens, and Ellenville NY. The Ellenville facility is dedicated to female veterans and offers gender-specific treatment at a safe and encouraging environment for women veterans. Also operates the Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) which provides community-based housing assistance and support services for at-risk veterans and their families. These services include temporary financial assistance, housing counseling, legal service referrals, daily living services, personal financial planning and transportation services.

Recreates and reenacts a Colonial Militia that existed in the Town of Huntington as early as 1653. The group reenacts 18th Century civilian and military life at local, regional and national events. Member of the Brigade of the American Revolution.
