Provides an opportunity for youth of Mastic, Mastic Beach, Moriches and Shirley to play on a travel soccer team and attend various tournaments under the Long Island Junior Soccer League.

The Well Child Clinic is a safety net service that provides well child examinations for children who are uninsured or underinsured or who have moved into the area and need a referral to a primary care provider. Blood lead level testing, WIC physical exams, hemoglobin testing, and immunization for vaccine-preventable diseases are offered. This service is for well children, not sick.

Provides opportunities for middle and junior high school students to participate in an Annual Youth Conference. Students create and develop marketing materials and have opportunities to interact with their peers and highlight each other.

Offers a variety of programming, such as:Toddler Tennis: Children ages 4 to 6 years for an introduction to tennis; equipment is provided. Babysitting Certification: Offers a 8 hour course for youth ages 11 to 15 years. Course covers interviewing, facts about child growth and development, as well as CPS and safety planning.

Offers workshop for children ages 5-8 and 9-12 (parents included). This program provides education and support to families. Topics include building healthy friendships, communication skills, understanding and expressing feelings, dealing with teasing and bullies, and more. Discussion groups, creative arts, games and hands-on activities are utilized to increase understanding and strengthen social skills. The Parent Component offers support and guidance to parents, and provides practical skills for helping their child in a variety of situations. The Parent Component meets at the same time the children's program runs.

Children and adolescents with HIV infection and other diseases that lead to secondary, not genetically defined immune defects, are evaluated and treated. Physicians, Nurse Specialists, Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, Social Workers and Laboratory Technologists formulate treatment protocols for these children.

A distinct job-linkage service that pairs young adults interested in obtaining employment with neighborhood businesses and local individuals seeking assistance in the areas of yard work, child care, tutoring, office help, and more. Teaches job readiness, helps build skills, and enables youth to gain real work experience.

Provides comprehensive mental health services to patients in their own homes. Offers specialized programs for patients of various ages. Arranges for other services for patients as needed and advocates for patients/families. Provides evaluation with feedback to medical doctor or treatment team, medication administration/education, behavior modification, general health/nutrition status assessment. Functions as a School Net Program.

A High-Risk Youth program offering HIV education, counseling and testing. Medical and psychosocial care for HIV-positive youth is coordinated with the Allergy/Immunology Division.
