EISEP is a non-medical service program for elderly citizens. Persons aged 60 and over who do not qualify for Medicaid, who are in need of assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, shopping, meal preparation, money management or taking medication) and who meet standard assessment requirements, are eligible. Services are provided to make the home environment safer for the older person in need, and may include a personal emergency response system.

Renwyck Place offers one-bedroom apartments to senior citizens and the disabled for 30% of adjusted gross income. This is a six-story building with 97 units, 10 of which are handicapped accessible. Pets under 25 lbs. are allowed. There is a laundry facility, a service coordinator, a 24-hour live-in staff, off-street parking, weekly grocery and other shopping vans and buses and regular transportaion to the local senior center.

This federal program provides a monthly box of non-perishables to qualifying seniors.

EISEP (Expanded In Home services for the Elderly Program) provides non-medical in-home services to elderly persons who have one or more disabling conditions which prevent them from performing activities of daily living. Services provided include case management, homemaker-personal care, housekeeper/chore, non-institutional respite, and ancillary services.

FCA operates the Link-Age Program in partnership with NCOFA for adults 55 and older, and provides in-home assistance and senior services funded by or in collaboration with Nassau County Office for the Aging.

An older adult, 106-unit housing. A Resident Services Director will work with individual residents to identify their supportive needs and then help arrange for services working with the broad array of community based services in and around Nanuet. Housing for seniors is not licensed.
