The Greenlawn Civic Association (GCA) is a group of volunteers working together to improve the community. Founded in 1990, the GCA with town and country officials on behalf of the community to improve quality of life in the Greenlawn area. The GCA has provided and contributed to many neighborhood enhancements over the years. Meeting held on the first Tuesday of the month at 7pm at the Harborfields library

Under grants from Suffolk County Department of Labor and United Way, will provide paid employment and job training opportunities to youth ages 16 - 20. In partnership with the Urban League, will provide paid employment and on the job training opportunities for adults who are eligible to work under Title V of the Older Americans Act

Functions to empower and educate tenants, preserve affordable housing and livable neighborhoods, and strengthen tenant protections. Offers organizational and technical assistance to tenants groups with these objectives. Maintains Speakers Bureau and publishes newsletter and educational material. Call for more information.
