The Greenlawn Civic Association (GCA) is a group of volunteers working together to improve the community. Founded in 1990, the GCA with town and country officials on behalf of the community to improve quality of life in the Greenlawn area. Address individual consumers, youth and community decision makers utilizing phone consultations with individuals, workshops for adults, and lessons for students and youth at summer program sites focus on environmental stewardship, green cleaning, water resource management, waste management, and indoor air quality.

Provides improved access to quality healthcare services in the town of East Hampton. Offers primary healthcare to uninsured through programs at the East Hampton Healthcare Facility. Funds programs to support healthcare access and public health improvement. Provides grant funds to community organizations sponsoring healthcare activities.

Provides education, research, advocacy and support to eliminate racism.

Administers various funding programs for organizations that serve low- to moderate-income individuals and families.

Serves as the chief custodian of St. Lawrence County's financial resources.

Village services

Provides Reference, Information and Referral and Readers Advisory. Programs and services include a Teen Advisory Board, Game Night, book discussions, arts and crafts, cooking and a summer reading club.

Preserves and exhibits local history and presents programs on the local history of Lindenhurst. Tours are available. Call for additional information.

Program assists seniors 60 years and over to remain in their own homes after retirement. Services offered: healthcare monitoring and screenings, connections to benefits and services, home maintenance assistance and minor repairs, counseling, case management and service coordination, and nutrition assistance, as well as social and recreational opportunities.
