Visitors can also trace the history of firefighting in Nassau County with hands-on exhibits that feature antique and contemporary fire apparatus and gear. The Center offers interactive fire safety programs for Pre-K through high school students. These programs are taught by a current or retired firefighter in our interactive theater. In addition, the Center offers guided and non-guided tours to groups of all types.
