Offers a program at Zucker Hillside which is among the oldest, most experienced and active in the nation. Services include psychiatric ECT consultation, as well as patient and family support. The treatment is appropriate for patients with serious depression who cannot be safely treated with antidepressant medication and those with serious depression or bipolar disorder who have not responded to other treatments.
