Also the center will conduct research on the nature and treatment of anxiety and depression. Problems Treated at the Anxiety and Depression Program include: Panic Disorder; Generalized Anxiety Disorder; Specific Phobia; Social Anxiety; Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder; Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder and Depression. Designed to meet the needs of parents/guardians that are raising children with serious emotional disturbances and/or behavioral challenges. Goals are developed and based on the child/families strengths, needs, and desire for the identified support services. Customized Community Services can also be provided in school and mental health settings if there is a contract in place with a funder who has agreed to purchase Customized Services from Hillside. Customized Services may include any of the following, depending upon availability in your area: -Individual skillbuilding (Examples of individual skillbuilding include working on improving anger management, social, independent living, or other important skills; transitioning home from an out-of-home placement; and learning strategies for managing difficult life situations.) -Parenting support and education -Skill-based groups -Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (in some areas) -Mentoring

Offers short-term interventions to families struggling with common childhood problems including depression, anxiety, behavioral challenges, and concerns related to ADHD and autism spectrum disorders. Conditions treated include:

• Anxiety disorders, including Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), generalized anxiety, panic disorder, specific phobias, social anxiety, separation anxiety, and school phobia

Outpatient clinic services for children and adolescents ages 3-21. Provides rapid and immediate access to psychiatric, individual, group, and family therapy. Licensed clinicians can help children and youth by addressing situations such as oppositional defiant disorder, conduct disorder, mood disorder, anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, addictions, school avoidance, traumatic experiences, PTSD, sexual abuse, domestic violence, suicidal thoughts, aggression, grief and loss, and reactive attachment disorder. Trained mental health clinicians have expertise in EMDR, DBT, Art Therapy, CBT, and Trauma Informed Care. Psychiatric care and parenting resources are available.

Provides outpatient substance use and alcohol abuse treatment services including psychosocial assessments, medical evaluations, individual therapy, group counseling, medication assisted treatment and psychiatric evaluations. Offers linkage to detox services, inpatient residential programs, and HIV Testing referrals. Aftercare planning provided. Same day access and walk in hours available (please call for days and times).
