Our volunteer services program connects individuals with agencies that need volunteers the most. The program offers a full range of volunteer opportunities. Volunteers provide independent living services such as delivering meals and transportation to the homebound, and serve their communities in many other ways. You choose whether you want to draw on your skills or develop new ones. In short, you find the opportunity that's right for you. Volunteers choose how, where, and how often they want to serve, with commitments ranging from a few hours to 40 hours per week.

Support the Albany Housing Authority's monthly food distribution by assisting with preparation and on-site delivery at various AHA locations. Volunteers help with bagging, sorting, counting, and transporting food items at our central site (200 S Pearl St), as well as handing out bags to the community and taking attendance during distributions.
