Teens in the Teen Program are able to participate in a variety of local and national programs along with an assortment of activities and events offered and organized by local universities. An inclusionary therapeutic dance/movement program for individuals with developmental, physical, and intellectual disabilities. Instructors and qualified volunteer dance partners work with students in a dance studio studying technical and adaptive forms of classical and contemporary dance styles (tap, jazz, ballet, hip hop, creative movement). Innovative non-ambulatory program for dancers in wheelchairs. Day hab classes available for adults enrolled in area day treatment and day hab programs. Annual dance recital held in May. Provides sessions in a safe, non-threatening environment for individuals to grow and develop their personal potential. Instruction focuses on the fundamentals of movement, expanding each individual's natural kinesthetic repertoire and studying a dance style in modified or technical form. The season culminates in an annual May production featuring dancers accompanied by a supporting cast of high school and college interns. The production is open to the public and tickets can be purchased on the website.

Provides summer residential programs that offer intensive, preprofessional training for New York State's most gifted and motivated young artists, who are considering careers in the arts or entertainment industries. Consists of seven component schools located throughout New York State: ballet, choral studies, orchestral studies, dance, medial arts, visual arts, and theater.

Dance: Provides the joy of dancing through the use of body and rhythmic movements. Participants increase coordination, flexibility, balance, and their overall sense of well-being.Movement & Song: Encourages creative expression through active music making, sing-alongs and dance. Rhythm instruments such as tambourines, maracas, bells and triangles help create an enjoyable movement and song experience.Percussion Band: Participants sit together in a circle and play drums and other percussion instruments. The imagination of the group is sparked as they enact visions of trains, thunderstorms, etc. using their percussion instruments.Yoga: Yoga provides the tools for maximizing health by developing strength and flexibility in a gentle manner. Arts & Crafts: provides instruction and materials for various art projects.

Offers a summer camp and school year breaks sessions which focus on activities in art, drama, aquatics, gymnastics and dance for children, including those with a range of developmental disabilities.

The Center provides a wide array of classes in dance, music, fitness/wellness, theater, spoken word, computer arts technology and the visual arts. These classes are offered after school, evenings and weekends at our main site in midtown Kingston. A homework and tutoring center is also available. Programs include S.P.I.C.E, a year round project for low income women and their children (provides childcare at the center if needed to participate) with a special focus on women of color.
