Teens fill out an application indicating what kind of work they are willing to do. Residents call to make a request for assistance, detailing the kind of work they need done. A teen participant is then contacted about the job possibility and given the details of the job and the contact information for the resident. The teen contacts the resident to discuss the date/time of the job duties, date/time of the job, and pay. Due to safety concerns, requests for work involving climbing ladders, roof work, carrying heavy/large objects up or down stairs, or anything that would require driving are not honored. Work opportunities available include: raking, shoveling, mowing, weeding, gardening, tutoring, putting away shopping, errand running, pet care, child care, assisting elderly/disabled, computer tutoring, basement/garage cleaning, help with parties, and light housework.
