Provides GED classes and paid work experience for youth ages 14-21.

Provides programs aimed at youth development, social interaction, and community impact. Some of these programs include: Community Impact Team (student-driven community service club with projects ranging from food drives, supply drives for local shelters, etc.), Drop-In (recreational program designed to give youth a safe space to hang out with their friends, watch movies, play video games, listen to music, make art, etc.), Middle and High School Basketball (at Northport Middle School), Grandfriends (pairs Northport High School students with seniors living at Atria), and Arts and Crafts. Also receives in-house support services through the Huntington Youth Bureau which includes Drug and Alcohol Project (substance abuse counseling, referrals and education, crisis intervention), Sanctuary (emergency short-term housing for homeless youth and their families), Project Excel (GED preparation, vocational counseling, job placement), Youth Court, and a crisis hotline. Publishes an agency brochure and calendar of events.

A 6 week summer youth employment program designed for teenagers, ages 14-21, to build life skills while growing food for the community. Once youth complete a summer season, they can work with VINES in the fall and spring.

Offers the opportunity for youth to learn and refine valuable workplace skills by participating in subsidized work experience opportunities and work readiness workshops for approximately 20-25 hours per week from July to mid-August.

A program which aims to encourage youth to engage in healthy behaviors early in life that reduce preventable chronic diseases, unwanted pregnancy and the incidence of sexually transmitted diseases. Summer Youth Employment & Training Program (SYETP) is a summer academic and career development program. Youth are exposed to an enriching learning environment that includes academic development, career/vocational focus, and exploration/recreational activities. Participants 14 to 18 have the opportunity to participate in job shadowing/summer internships and earn a stipend for their participation.
