Molloy has aligned its curriculum to the body of knowledge created by HR Certification Institute. Molloy’s curriculum will prepare students to sit for The Associate Professional in Human ResourcesTM (aPHRTM) certification exam or the Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) certification exam given by the HR Certification Institute® (HRCI®). Offers employment opportunities for youth providing tools to increase employment opportunities as well as help in job placement.

Offers job training and support services through the work center with an assessment and building practical job skills, and under supervision the participants work and get paid for a variety of services. There is also training in janitorial, greenhouse/horticultural or customer service.

Offers a non-credit Ophthalmic Assistant Technician and Optician Programs. This program provides enrollee’s with the knowledge and skills necessary to obtain employment in optical centers under the supervision of a licensed optician; or in an ophthalmic office as an ophthalmic assistant. Assists blind/visually handicapped persons ages 10 and older wishing to engage in a vocational program, to obtain a job, or keep a present job. Offers consultations with rehabilitation counselor to develop a plan of services that can include training and/or education. Assists with job placement upon completion of plan requirements.

Serves students with disabilities from the component school districts. This program provides a self-contained learning environment with modifications as determined by the Committees on Special Education (i.e., 12-1-1 and 8-1-1). The Gary D. Bixhorn Technical Center, the Islip Career Center and Harry B. Ward Technical Center serve high school students who are 15.5 (15 years and 6 months) of age by September 1st until the age of 21. Special Career Education (SCE) creates opportunities for all students by providing them with the technical and academic skills needed to prepare for future employment and a successful path to college or other post-secondary programs. SCE provides technical training to prepare students for a successful career. The structured training gives students the tools needed to be successful in a job after high school and/or further post-secondary education. Each student is encouraged to explore various areas of study and to develop the essential skills to feel competent in entering today's competitive job market, while helping them to learn how to cope with their disabilities in the workplace. Offers a Clinical Medical Assistant - Intensive program. This program will help you start a career in medicine as a Clinical Medical Assistant and take your first steps in a job opportunity program. Prepare for the Certified Health Professionals Certification exams to become employed as a Medical Assistant, Electrocardiograph Technician or Phlebotomy Technician. The 160-hour clinical externship springboards you into starting your career. Study human anatomy, medical terminology, hematology, phlebotomy, and electrocardiography. Learn the skills to assist with medical emergencies, physical exams, and laboratory testing. Perform live venipuncture and capillary puncture procedures. Professional skills to assist in medical offices, hospitals and health care facilities will be taught along with a 160-hour supervised clinical externship rotation. This is provided by partnering hospitals and medical facilities on Long Island. Meet with Employment Center counselors for job opportunities. Also offered is CPR and OSHA-10 Courses. Provides one of the most vital units throughout the Sheriff’s office. Throughout the year, Community Relations Unit visits each Suffolk County School District as well as multiple clubs and various organizations. Its main goal is to bridge the gap between Law Enforcement and the members of the Community. CRU is responsible for implementing community outreach and school-based programs, organizing events, and promoting the Sheriff’s mission. The unit offers an array of Community and School-based programs free of charge for all Suffolk County schools, businesses, organizations, non-profits and agencies.
