Provides consultation services in a variety of specialized areas, including neurosurgery, pediatric and adult orthopedics, radiology, pediatric surgery, pediatric and adult urology, as well as general surgery. Also offers anti-partum testing, free prostate cancer screening, hi-risk pregnancy consultations, and midwives. Out patient services are performed on site, and patients requiring admission to University Medical Center for more complex procedures may receive all pre- and post-operative care at the center.

Provides individualized, preventive medical and psychological care to children with sickle cell disease from birth to 21 years of age. Includes pain management transfusions, stem cell transplantation, newborn screening and genetic counseling and summer camp program.

This facility contains the largest freestanding pediatric ventilator program in the country, along with skilled nursing, rehabilitative care, and a state-of-the-art respiratory care program. In addition, provides an on-site private school and day care for medically fragile and technology dependent children.

Pediatric specialists, evaluate children with genetically defined, primary immune defects that lead to recurrent serious infection in childhood and adolescents. For these patients, bone marrow transplant or gene therapy, where appropriate, are used for immune reconstitution.

This multidisciplinary center is comprised of staff from the Divisions of Human Genetics and Pediatric Neurology. Referrals to Orthopedic and Ophthamolic services are coordinated by the genetic counselor, as needed. The Clinic provides diagnosis, management, coordination of medical care, genetic counseling and education.

Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) offering pediatrics, internal medicine/family medicine, OB/GYN, pediatric and adult dental services, podiatry, social work, nutritional counseling, medications for opioid use disorder, and pharmacy with home delivery. Serves all populations with special focus on the medically under-insured, uninsured, and those experiencing homelessness. Also provides onsite lab, ultrasound, STD testing, COVID-19 testing and vaccines, health education/groups, blood pressure screening, and free walk-in pregnancy testing. Provides transportation assistance to help clients get to appointments and referral assistance. Participates in 340B drug discount program and has onsite enrollers for the New York State of Health insurance marketplace. Hospital affiliations: Sisters Hospital and the John R. Primary Care: Oishei Children's Hospital is dedicated to providing children with access to high quality primary medical care in the city of Buffalo. Special Needs: Primary care clinic for medical, developmental, behavioral and/or emotional disabilities with a multidisciplinary approach to care. The Youth Link Program: Providing primary medical care, specialty care, and case management services for adolescents who are infected with HIV or are at-risk for getting HIV. Pediatric Hospital Service: Responsible for all hospitalized patients whose physicians are not on staff with Oishei Children's Hospital. Provides referral and consultative services as well. Newborn Nursery: Our newborn service is for babies whose physicians are not on staff with Oishei Children's Hospital and for babies who will become patients of Niagara Street Pediatrics or Towne Gardens Pediatrics.
