Maternity Center provides prenatal programs, baby care and safety courses, intensive care for premature newborns and those with health problems, full range of prenatal testing, classes in childbirth, Lamaze and breast feeding. The Center has its own entry and parking lot. An orientation for expectant parents is held every Saturday at 9am; call for reservations as space is limited.

Healthy Kids is a joint endeavor between Samaritan Hospital and Rensselaer County Department of Social Services This is a unique home visitation program. The program is voluntary and free to participants. Family support workers provide a range of services, including childbirth education, infant care and child development, family planning options, assistance with obtaining transportation, meal planning, and referral to community agencies.

SLC provides a birthing center that focuses on all aspects of pregnancy, from testing, option counseling, labor and delivery, high-risk, infertility, prenatal and post partum care.

Provides comprehensive rehabilitation services consisting of diagnostic, evaluative, and therapeutic services to children with known or suspected disabilities. Center also supports the Regional Perinatal Center of WNY, and the only Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in Western New York that has the full scope of pediatric subspecialists required to operate a Level III NICU. Each center or program is comprised of an interdisciplinary team of specialists specifically selected to meet patients' needs. Services are family focused and provided in conjunction with pediatricians and community resources. Clinics offered include: Motor Clinic, Spina Bifida Clinic, Spasticity Clinic, Early Neurodevelopmental Clinic, Comprehensive Developmental Clinic, Feeding Disorders Clinic, Down Syndrome Program, Speech and Hearing Program, Orthopedic Rehabilitation Program, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Adaptive Seating Program and Aquatic Therapy.

Provides subspecialty care and support for allergy, endocrinology, eye care, obstetrics, pulmonary, and more.

265-bed full service community hospital offering emergency medicine, internal medicine, family practice, gastroenterology, neonatology, obstetrics and gynecology, oncology, general surgery and many surgery specialties such as breast cancer, colorectal, orthopedics, urology, and minimally invasive robotic surgery. This three hour program provides expectant women and their coaches (husband, boyfriend, mother, friend, etc.) with infant care education. Topics include the handling, feeding, changing, bathing, and caring for the newborn. Discuss layette, equipment,furnishings, toys, safety, growth, development, health and illness.
