Assists individuals and families in completing the Access NY Health Care Application for health insurance through Medicaid, Child Health Plus, Family Health Plus or Medicare Part D.

Trained staff and volunteers help each caller with their particular issue, whether it relates to understanding Medicare benefits, making enrollment decisions, coordinating Medicare with other insurance, appealing denials of care, determining eligibility for Medicare cost-saving programs, or another topic.

You can meet one-on-one with a trained counselor at one of our library-based locations. Spanish interpreter can be made available by appointment.
