Is the bridge between our local community and Stony Brook Cancer Center. The primary goal of the Office is to reduce the cancer burden and disparities in our local community of Suffolk and Nassau counties. To accomplish this goal, Stony Brook cancer research and administrative programming is guided by the unique needs and attributes of the community. This community perspective is developed by engaging our community partners and stakeholders as well as gathering information from available surveys and other local measures.
