The Healthy Neighborhoods Program (HNP) is a grant-funded program designed to help improve the personal health, safety, and environmental living conditions of residents within Clinton County. HNP is able to do this through health and safety surveys that are conducted with participants of the program. The survey covers 5 main topics: fire safety, lead, indoor air quality, injury prevention, and asthma. Based on the outcome of the survey, and program eligibility, HNP may be able to provide the participant with various safety products as well as health and safety education. Following the home assessment, intervention products and services are provided according to need and interest.
